Apparently he has left GMB according to ITV statement at 18.22

Hé stated his ‘decision to leave’, accepted by ITV, not as in resigned, I assume he has a contract. Are their ratings low ?

In a short statement, ITV said it had accepted Piers Morgan's decision to leave Good Morning Britain.

The statement said: "Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain.

"ITV has accepted this decision and has nothing further to add."

Imagine doing this because someone wouldnt go to the pub with you again.

Perhaps Alex Beresford will apply for the vacancy?

Did he resign or was he pushed? My guess is that he saw the writing on the wall and resigned before he was sacked, with 41,000 complaints ITV would have had little choice. Perhaps the Daily Mail will also set him adrift now

Piers Morgan thinks he is above all others. He is an arrogant bigot. I’m not keen on Alex either. As someone else said why is the weather man getting involved with the main presenters and ticking them off. He’s getting above himself too.

Alex is an anti racism campaigner, a close family member was stabbed and died in London last year.

All of the GMB weather reporters are generally involved with items on GMB other than the weather.

I don’t watch GMB because I can’t bear PM or Susanah Reid. I have seen a clip of the performance this morning.
In my opinion Piers Morgan is a nasty egotistical oaf. I think the weatherman came across as a calm, intelligent man.

I think he is married to Anjelica Bell who is on with Martin Lewis, he is now a full time teacher.

Obviously my trivia knowledge does not extend to getting peoples names correct.

So does that me that the delectable Sean Fletcher might be available? If so, I might start watching GMB, although that might mean waking up earlier.

Just googled him, he was a sports presenter on ITV some time ago but is mostly BBC.
