Chewsday again!
More Covid drama! No more flights from India allowed in for 3 weeks in view of its situation. Pictures of all those funeral pyres are very disturbing. Several thousand Aussies are now trapped over there. I believe a majority are naturalized Aussies who normally spend their time between OZ and India with families in each.
A few Aussie cricketers who play in the Indian Prem.League have managed to return, but others have stayed on; their pay-packets are very good!

I believe sanity has been restored regarding that flight from Perth to Brisbane, in that isolation conditions have ben relaxed. Quite right too!

Watched video of City v Villa today without checking result first and Villa’s goal in the first few seconds had me worried’
City won 2-1 on goals and it was a 1-1 draw on red cards!
Next on the “to watch” list is City v Spurs.

We seem to have quite a few connections with Loch Ness; Has anyone got a decent photo of Nessie?
Aveline your Uncle Francis took the famous pic, of Nessie in 1932 or thereabouts! according to my research That would make her at least 90. No sign of any little Nessies though!?

Been in work all day
You’re a very busy lady always at work all day and I can’t remember if you let on what you do!? Yes thanks! Enjoyed the match; always do when we win, but tomorrow is the big one, I believe. Fingers crossed!

Weather still ordinary! Lotsof cloud cover, but no sign of the warmer weather yet.
Off to see my favourite “vascular surgeon” again tomorrow. She must like me, or maybe it’s my right leg and so-called venous ulcers! It’s provided her with a steady income these past few years. grin

No news of first vaccine jab let alone a second so we'd have to say that the rollout is very steady!

Good Health wine wine wine

Hi Rufus, well Mbappe, PSG’s young goal machine, went of injured two days ago, should be a good game.
We’re now jabbing our over 42 year olds, the next age down, my daughter had her first one about three weeks ago, she’s 34 and works in a school.
Rain is promised overnight and tomorrow, I hope so. Watered yesterday and encountered the bee keepers, the hives are next to my plot, must ask them what happens to the honey.
Take care ?

Writing this outside the hospital. Will know the fate of my hip soon enough.
Second vaccine appointment at the end of the week. After that I've booked a series of meals out with the family can't wait.
FYI I read that your pal Michael Portillo is now making a railway series round Britain. Not very exciting for us but could be interesting for you to see.

Jaxjacky Never heard of him, not surprisingly! , well should be a good game.
Thought you meant a Scotch soccer player Macbappe, but will be pity if he can't make it because we get more satisfaction beating the strong ones.

And be careful how you question the bee-keepers. They might say "Help yourself, but bring your own jar"! grin
Cheers

Aveline You just caught me on my way to Noddyland to dream about playing for City!
He's already done many progs about Britain's trains, but maybe he's found some. more! I'll certainly look forward to them coming our way.
Btw he's not my pal; I'm told he's one of those and his outfits bear that out, but each to their own! blush

Good luck with the Hip Hop; we've got Son Ian waiting on one next month so maybe you could get together and compare notes!
I guess the best part is when its all over, like with TKRs
Enjoy your meals out, but, like our vaccine roll-out, don't rush and trip on your hip hmm
Cheers

Hello Rufus
Sounds like you are back on track ?
We are booked for our first meal out for more than a year next Sunday, husband and granddaughter shared birthday (70 years between!). Really looking forward to it, has to be outside and no more than 6 people. Everyone’s praying for rain now , hope it doesn’t come on that day . The weather has been good if chilly but dry for ages.
Over 30s vaccinations starting here next week, grandsons wedding 2nd July so I hope they’ll have all been jabbed by then. It’s all been so good and well organised so far.

Heartbreaking reading about India, today a lot of help is being sent from all over the world, hope it is in time for some.

Night night...
Cheers ????????

Good Evening Rufus yes the covid in India is very troubling. In answer to your question I rarely discuss the work I do, and never where I work.
Take care and keep well.
