Happy New Kitchen everyone.
Happy new kitchen! I've got chocolate chip buns. But that's enough about my health issues ?
What a bright warm new kitchen.I bring spanakopita (Greek spinach and feta pies) just out of the oven enjoy.
We do get through a lot of Kitchens !
Soop has conjured up another wonderful space for us all to make ourselves comfortable in. Is the kettle on?
aggue we do not hang about- we are frequently on the move.
My apologies aggie
?
Whew - found the kitchen. Hope it's OK soop. I left a post in the old kitchen just after midnight I'm posting it again in the new one because it had some thank yous. Love the cushions Doodle.
Jax ?
Muse has the blues so's taken to the booze.
She thought it better than blowing a fuse.
From son she has no news
What's needed is an undisturbed snooze.
Tomorrow, MrM had better watch his p's and q's!
After what was to be a well planned delightful day venturing into the wide wide world again, turned out to be a disastrous one.
cornergran, Grandmafrench , Urm , Jax and soop
Thank you for your lovely words about dear son and granddaughter.
Nighty night?
I'll pop back later with Wednesday's news.
Oooh I’ve found the new kitchen - looking lovely as usual. I’ve bought chocolate brownies and I’ve put the kettle on
Settling in now ...
Oh muse sorry to hear all that.
Lovely new kitchen thank you. We’ve had rain...hurrah! a couple of hours, but we need more. As we’re going out for dinner, as in out side, I’m sure it’ll rain, we are under cover, so layered up. I shall be dithering over the menu rather than wondering what to cook at home, might even stretch to a pudding, especially if it’s a hot one, rare for me. I’ll report back.
Hope soop and others have had a better day.x
Good after dear folks - here we are in a lovely new kitchen . I got a new phone yesterday and taken me hours of buggerations to get logged into everything again but here I am!! As the healthy eating regime continues I'm afraid I can only bring blueberries and greek yogurt to the kitchen - nice but not massively exciting or indulgent. soop hope you are looking after yourself and sending you a gentle virtual hug. Enjoy your evening everyone and stay safe
Afternoon all,
Quiet day here . Our crochet group have planned a yarn bombing for when restrictions are lifted so I have been busy making butterflies. The little boys will be receiving a bunch as they plan on being yarn bomb ninjas and putting them on the tree at their school for the little ones.
How are you feeling soop? A little better hopefully.
Oh BladeAnnie I feel your pain , having changed phones and tablets recently - the palaver of getting everything set up properly. Makes me almost regret the change lol
Love the new cushions Doodle!!
What a lovely, happy gathering we have in our newest kitchen.
Doodle The cushions are perfect. I shall put the tartan cushions away for another day. I love the vibrant colours and interesting design.
N&G I would love a butterfly. Will you be selling?
Have spent a very quiet day. Was sick after breakfast and thought it best to shelve the housework.
I have been concentrating on a small keepsake portrait of Hattie for our friend, Maw. It may be good enough to post to her on Friday.
Please remain and blether to your heart's content. The buffet looks delicious. It is time for me to say farewell until tomorrow. I am delighted that our kitchen continues to provide a haven for those who need support. It will always be special because you lot make it so.
(hugs)
Hello, this kitchen looks so homely already who would think we have only moved it today?
Doodle I love the vibrant hues of the cushions.
N&G could we make a string of your yarn butterflies and have a line of bunting in here please?
The buffet looks tasty - as always.
I bring a plate of Pastas de Nastas (custard tartlets) as I thought they would go down well after the Spanakopita Yiay.
Sorry you have been sick today soop. I hope you get some respite soon from feeling so yuck ?
BladeAnnie I find technology a constant challenge to the old grey matter ? Well done for overcoming it.
Have a peaceful evening all. ?
Hello to soop and all in the new kitchen??
I didn’t get into the last kitchen very often so am determined to be a regular visitor to this lovely we kitchen.
We have been busy with our usual childcare duties and getting the garden organised with a spot of decorating in between.
I am finding after lockdown that I feel exhausted doing things that were no bother pre lockdown.I think the slower pace of life suited me.
We have our second vaccine tomorrow but are still not really going out and about although we have a trip to the coast planned for next week.
TOYA as I have been during my absence.Hope the antibiotics are working soop and you are feeling better than you were.
I'm sorry to hear that you are still unwell, Soop Buggerations all round. Puzzler61 the custard tarts sound wonderful after the spanikoptika from Yiayia. Nannandgrampy you are very industrious. Yarn bombing sounds lovely and wool butterflies sound lovely too. Doodle those cushions are beautiful and so vivid.
I've visited mum, my friend and had a lazy afternoon so I'm feeling fine. I have had the heating on as it was so cold but fish and chips have warned me up. I'm going shopping with dd and dgs tomorrow and we're meeting ds for lunch so that will be a nice day.
Have a good evening all.
Hello Susan. Nice to see you back.
NannaandGrampy I am fascinated by the concept of yarn bombing and think this would lovely to send to my littlies in Australia!
Sadly, I don't crochet but am a reasonable knitter - please, can anyone point me in the direction of a pattern for knitted butterflies?
Thank you!
‘Evening All’.
Lovely new kitchen soop! Beautiful cushions too Doodle hope you didn’t pay ‘Carrie prices’ ...
?
I’ve just eaten a babbies ‘ead (sorry, steak & kidney pudding) and chips from the wonderful chippy downstairs. No wonder the diet isn’t working! Now, is there a nice wide chair in here to accommodate me comfortably?
I know what you mean Susan56 about gearing up a pace now restrictions are lifting. I’m trying to be more measured in what socialising I agree to going forward. You of course have childcare arrangements to factor in. Be mindful and look after your own needs too. muse try not to worry. Your son has a lot on his mind. Hopefully all will be well soon. Enjoy your meal out Jax hope you were warm enough! x
Totally changed our plans today!
It’s DD’s birthday so we booked a table at our friends gastro pub (we went to the same infant school). It’s on the river by an Antique Centre, due to temperature plummeting and wind howling they closed early ?
Hence an Indian takeaway at ours, such a shame as yesterday it was warm and sunny, we shall make up for it when weather changes.
Love the new kitchen soop take care and rest, we need you well ????
Thanks Urms food was great, sea bass for me, locally produced burger for Mr J, but blimey, 6.5deg!! I have Raynauds and wore gloves, but had three numb fingers, it felt rude scooting off so quickly but a healthy tip was left. Very sensible decision GG13, Mr J did enjoy his first pint out as much as his meal! he’s pictured looking a bit chilly.
Have a peaceful evening all soop ? muse ??
Hello lovely kitcheners I hope you’re feeling a bit better tomorrow soop sorry to hear you’ve been sick today
I really like the Yarn bombing N&G I think the butterflies look so lovely
muse hope you’ve had a better day today and I hope your 2nd vaccine goes ok tomorrow susan
jaxj let’s hope it warms up a bit again soon and we can enjoy eating outside... I’m supposed to be looking after DGSs tomorrow evening whilst DD1 and SiL have a meal out but if the weathers bad I’m not sure what they’ll do ..
