Another lovely day, although it chills off once that sun dips behind the roof’
Wasn’t a good start to the day. A 9.45 appointment with specialist turned into a 10.45 one. Very annoying to watch three other patients called in, separately, whilst waiting without being told what’s going on; that’s a minimum of 20 minutes times three.
Of course she had been called out to an emergency at her other hospital where I’d been a patient recently. No room for argument there, not that I ever would!
During my wait I noticed that patients had to sign the book on arrival as part of the contacting.tracing procedure, rub alcohol over their hands and wear a face mask, but no temperatures were being taken and no questions about having been overseas.
And everyone used the same one- and- only pen which was nailed to the desk! Very slack for a hospital
I wasn’t saying anything; too busy watching out for queue jumpers!
Some very good TV docos again this evening; Tony Robinson all about war-time Britain, German occupation of the Channel Isles; the Bethnal Green tube station tragedy; rationing, evacuations etc etc! What would it be like now if Germans had crossed the Channel
Now 80 years on, sabre rattlers here are at it because of fears of China.
All the threads seem dead this evening! Apart from a heap of deletions on Good Morning!
Good Health
