it turns out that the publicity shy couple were so keen on privacy that they didnt even want the £38 million wedding we were forced into paying for them, blimey, they could have said something earlier, like before the public coughed up a fortune for security, A list celeb guests and more melodrama than an x factor sob story, they are now claiming they wanted none of that because " it didnt feel like their day ", but they went through it anyway, bless em. They told Oprah that they actually had a private exchange of vows three days before, just the two of them were present as well as the archbishop of canterbury - perfectly normal behaviour, , now that they have aired all their laundry in public to the whole world, they are off to work on that private life they claim to crave, At least until the next big interview comes up
Apologies no offence meant
Correct. OP started two threads the same and didn’t return !

I was thinking they could be used to promote H&M ? - bring in a bob or two.
Oh great, thanks a bunch OP.
I spend time in my first two comments trying to deflect criticism of the OP and end up heaping it on myself from various quarters. At least I have strength in my own cvonvicyions to keep at it, the OP never came back once did they?

I see that there's another thread about the couple we love to hate. Most of us with no vitriol to pour on the pair of them have done what we've been told and stayed off it. (Sorry, TAAT. Maybe somebody can report me.)
5 posts. It's almost like there's nothing really to say about M&H unless there's an audience to hear it.
Now, where's that hard hat.....
Bizarre. Started by the same OP? What is that all about?

Arguably Smileless2012 they didn't wait to have a baby either. As far as I know there are no written rules about how long you have to try something before you realise you don't like it. Why should anyone have to live a life they hate and have no choice about what they do?
They shouldn’t have to live a life they hate, no one should. But they didn’t need to give that interview, and tell world about private, family things. That should never have happened. But it did, and it tells us something about the kind of people who would do that.
Agree merlotgran if they decided life in the royal family for
them yes walk away, but they didn’t just walk way, they wanted
freedom, privacy, yet kept their titles, gave interviews and topped all with that Oprah interview and slagged off his family and as if that wasn’t enough they lied.
What of the privacy they claimed they wanted.

It’s not what they’ve done, it’s the way that they’ve done it.
Meghan’s book - exploring the relationship between fathers and sons.
Oh the irony.

"then finding a few years down the line weren't working well" but they didn't wait a few years did they trisher. It's been said time and time again on these threads that there was nothing wrong with them walking away, had they done so correctly and not spat their dummies out, because they couldn't have their pick of the trappings, that went with 'the job' they didn't want to do.
Not to mention the public trashing of H's family which if the rumours are to be believed will be happening again, when the extended version of 'Finding Freedom' is released which will include details of the conversations H had with his father and brother at his GF's funeral.
We can only hope that the rumours have no basis in fact, rather like that interview.

M has written a children's book called 'The Bench' by Meghan The Duchess of Sussex. Gosh that royal title sure is useful isn't it
I suppose anyone famous can get a book published, but the samples I’ve seen of this one (which i in verse) are absolute doggerel.
Earnshaw, you have had a lot of response to your post, when I saw the usual criticism by the same couple of posters, I hoped that you and others are not bullied into not opening a subject. If people they are not interested, they don’t contribute and leave it to those that do.
Gosh did you all have a life plan clearly marked out? I remember talking about things before I got married and deciding to do certain things, then finding a few years down the line they weren't working well, and changing, changing again when the first baby arrived. Then there were a few events which made me completely re-evaluate things. I don't think they have behaved at all differently from most young couples from contrasting backgrounds. Just finding their way.
I think I'll leave that to the Duchess of Sussex suziewoozie.
I dread to think what he'd do if he wanted the world to know he wasn't being supportive Annie.
Judging by some of these posts, some of you should try your hands at writing fiction. ???
Such hypocrisy, when he said he wanted out he said he would fully support the Queen, then gives the Oprah interview, that was support !
Me too Namananny.
This thread is plumbing new depths.

Seriously!!
That made me splitter smileless
16.15 trisher, I wasnt clear there I dont think.
Let me explain, I used the word vote because I believe Meghan has hope's to run for President.
Yes it seems a long shot but if you look closely the signs are positive, if she takes her time.
If not, I'm sure she could be eligible to take on Oprahs crown.
Either way I wasnt alluding to the gov.
This thread has enough dignitaries being discussed without bringing the gov. Into it as well
Meghan and Harry's behaviour has absolutely nothing to do with this government or any other.
'H&M have in fact been too open and honest about things'
Really?
The timing of the possible discussion about the baby's skin colour?
The leaking of Meghan's letter by five best friends, about which she knew nothing?
The denial of any collaboration with Omid Scobie?
The wedding in the garden?
And how she suffered to get that title, she is equal to Wallis, a duchess but not a hrh.
