A bit of everything today except a thunderstorm!

We got caught out I. The hail on Sunday! The forecast had been for sunshine with light showers. It threw it down and also hailed!

I'm just across the border in northwest Durham. It was snowing here a few minutes ago.

I'm just back from a sunny walk, that turned into a run as it started hailing hard!

Snow in north Scotland and Durham - my son lives in Stanley, he'll be fed up! I suppose it was our coldest April for 60 years, but I thought the worst was over. So glad I haven't put my winter coat into the cleaners yet.

Hailstones in the West Midlands...

I do know the rule about 'ne'er casting a clout until May is out', BUT last week I did pack away all my winter jumpers, trousers and shoes, and put out Spring and summer clothing and sandals.
Fortunately, 'pack away' just means they are all in the wardrobe in the spare bedroom, so not far away.

Sunny but huge hailstones here too. Weird!

Today we've had sun, sleet, hailstones and we've just had thunder and lightning!

We had hail this morning in Somerset. The rest of the time sun and heavy rain showers.

I had many a wonderful cottage holiday in Northumberland! Here on Merseyside it cloudy and cold we had hailstones and sun earlier.

Two hailstorms today in S Wales, the one an hour ago left a thick layer in the garden like a snowfall.

Here it was sunny when I played tennis but suddenly it snowed, for about 2 minutes......now we have rain which looks kind of sleety too. Standard May weather .....
