Think it’s going to be a scorcher tomorrow afternoon in the tea garden so we’ll get the gazebos up, make sure the champagne is on ice and let’s get the summer cocktails on the go ..
Maybe Thor and Fronc can get the sausages sizzling on the BBQ and I’ll get the baps ready
The llamas get a bit whiffy in the heat so if you’ve time muse and doodle I think they’ll need another cool down in the river

May is back as it's half term at College - we must check she doesn't hog the water.
Allotment Andy is letting us have some of his strawberries, something about 'we may need to pink them up a bit'?.

Well, all done for this afternoon.
I have stuck a load of those LooBlu thingys round the inside of the Tub. They will help sanitise the water create a tropical ambience when the jacuzzi starts bubbling.
Music - the Palm Court String Quartet will pitch up with a summery medley.
Porgy and Bess if the posh crowd is in, otherwise the Kinks and Mungo Jerry for the -er- more exuberant customers.

I am away to create a circlet of white blooms to go with my floaty white frock.
Just like Woodstock again (sigh).

The watermelon vodka cocktail and the summertime daiquiris were very popular and the ladies who lunch brigade really enjoyed the pink gin fizzers
The sausages were burnt to perfection and the burgers were - well, quite unique
Everyone was singing along to In the Summertime and the llamas gently swaying ....

Ooh what a successful day. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and the till is bursting.
Llamas are exhausted and asleep in the cellar.
Thor and Fronc are having the evening off as they’ve worked all day in the BBQ. Colin the cocktail is busy behind the bar. This sunshine has made his little umbrellas very popular.

Sorry I missed the BBQ. I'd to put my feet up after the llama walk and wash down. Got into a tangle with the hosepipe.

Found a couple of bottles of champagne to kick start a punch for the evening. Thrown in a few courgettes the llamas didn't want and a bottle of sloe gin from the muse mess hut emergency supplies.

Only glasses I could find were some pint pots.

Pint of bubbly is ok with me muse. Let’s drink that and then see if we can pull that helmet off ixion’s head.

Yes the punch has been getting a few sniggers. Still everyone seems to be having a good time.
I think tomorrow we better do a thorough bug search. I have a feeling someone might be trying to steal AGA’s poteen recipe.

(You lot are crazy but I can't stop laughing at the courgettes in the punch causing amusement because they aren't cut up!! )

I think you had the misfortune, DanniRae, to meet one of our less refined menu options.

If you would care to come one afternoon to the Tea Rooms and order a fine dining experience (fizz, cocktails, petit fours etc), your faith will be restored.

But let's face it - most of the punters come for our beautiful waiters. What passes their lips by then is immaterial!
