ixion what can I say……yes ?. Although they would not have to be maintained to our current high standards. I would like to keep our llamas in their field as I have grown quite attached to them. And the imminent arrival could be exciting. I have heard today that the Captain in on a homeward voyage and looking forward to a booze up in his local. What do you think ?
I’m happy whatever you decide. We have been really busy with all the extras recently. If you’d all like to go back to the original Argy we could sell off the other businesses and spruce up the Argy a bit. Clean sawdust, new secondhand chairs. I’m easy (no ixion that is not what I meant ?)
I have missed the old Argy Bar. Maybe it's time to bring it back as there are not as many regulars in there now. What do you all think? I hope Alarma doesn't give grandmabatty a hard time. I have told the naughty little minx that nobody will be painting her hooves or spraying her with Chanel. We are only around to give her vitamins and making sure she rests. She will be confined to the paddock maternity unit if she acts up.
I’m quite new here too ixion .. no previous experience in The Argy … I’m still finding my feet which isn’t as easy as it sounds especially after a pint of the very best poteen
Yes AGA very good references. You’re hired grandmabatty I’m not actually sure Gnasher knows one end of Alarma from the other. Groper is too old and Humfrey is not inclined so he tells me. I think Alarma must have initiated things with Gnasher while he was full of poteen. Apparently Alarma has always wanted to be a Mummy and has promised to be good ?
Yes Alarma has convinced Vince she is expecting. She would like a nice comfortable bed, a baby shower, and to be excused rides for the foreseeable future.
I have acquired a small field from Farmer Giles which includes a barn where Alarma and the other llamas can sleep. We can use the field for llama rides. grandmabatty you will be most welcome. Alarma requires a lot in one to one attention and we have our hands full with all the goings on in the Argy, tea room and AB12. Alarma has asked if you have any references? ?
Has it been confirmed by Vince? I still live in hope that Alarma is, in fact, a tubby boy with a penchant for all those accessories that National Trust policy advocates to welcome visitors.
Failing that, I really think that, like Adam's brood shire mare on Countyfile, she should be sent to a specialist centre for continuing ante and post natal care.
Meanwhile, we can worry about how to keep our lucrative business ventures afloat in future.
