If you could narrow your favourite films of all time down to just three, which would they be?

Mine would be:

South Pacific

Very hard to keep to three. So here, randomly, are three that would be in my top 20. Dances With Wolves. Silent Running. Gattaca.

This is a good thread because there are one or two I haven’t seen so I can get them from the local library! I also liked Lawrence of Arabia back in the day.

Namsnanny

There was another thread like this a short while ago, and no one had even one of my choices!

I like too many films.for different reasons, it's difficult to narrow it down to 3, but top of my list will always be 'Notes on a Scandal'
I was so glued to it time flew by, and in what seemed like a second it was over!
Probably 'The talented Mr Ripley' with jude law. From Patricia Highsmiths book.

And if I'm only allowed 3 it's a toss up between 'The Four Seasons' with Alan alder. And 'Last of the Mohicans' directed by Michael Man. Now I know lots of people like LOTM so I'll go with that, then at least I will be included this timegrin

For some reason the more I love a film the less likely I am to rewatch it. The exceptions being LOTM’s which I can watch over and over again and never tire of. And, I’m not a great one for love stories, but I think it’s one of the greatest romances of all time. And the music is wonderful.
