Good Morning Everyone,
Its bright outside and dry after yesterdays rain here in Brackley .
Today for me , laundry then some housework followed by cycling as its the queen stage of the race in Italy , that refers to number climbs in the stage by the way .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning, everyone, where there’s a sunny start to my last day in Crewe.

With most of my family at work/school, although DSiL always works from home, I shall begin packing so I have less to do tomorrow. I might drive out to visit a few shops, depending how the day goes.

I hope you all have a good week, free from pain and worries. ?

grandMattie Mon 24-May-21 06:38:33

Good morning from a cloudy E Kent. We are promised thundery showers today ! ?
I’m meeting a friend for coffee. I haven’t seen her for ages, we met in our Spanish class about 14 years ago and have kept in touch. She has recently been diagnosed with ME, so might call off at the lat minute.
Nothing much else happening today.
Hope that you all have a “-free” day ... pain-free, etc. ????

Good morning from a bright and sunny NE.
DH has a hospital appointment this morning, BIL will take him while I get the housework sorted.
DD is going to visit this afternoon as she does not have to work from home today.
Enjoy being able to go out.

Good morning all from north Surrey where the sun is shining.
Yesterday it was so lovely to have mum and dad visit for Sunday lunch. I think for them it was good to be getting out and about again. DD brought the boys over to say hello. They were a bit shy as hadn’t seen their great grand parents for over 18 months. Dad fell asleep at the table so we knew when it was time to take them home.
Today DH has his walking for health and I am going to have a pyjama day which I have had planned for a few weeks to regenerate my batteries. The iPad will be on overtime as I am starting to window shop for my lounge/diner makeover.
Hoping all those with illness and troubles will have a better week. Particular thoughts to Grandmajet, I do hope her recovery is going well ?☀️?

Morning all from a sunny south coast with many puddles and damp paths so we did get the overnight rain. It's 9.5c though so milder than of late and looking good for later this week and the bank holiday.

I had a wiped-out day yesterday and kept dozing on and off so think I had some sort of a bug. Do feel much brighter this morning and hope that continues. Nothing planned so we will see what turns up.

Hope the day is a good one for us all. sunshine

Good Morning all from East Staffordshire where the sun has got his hat on☀️
Off to work shortly but only for a few hours and then back home to sit around doing very little!!
I will be taking a week off work after Tuesday to help DD as DSiL is back to work on Wednesday. DD had a CSection so is still unable to lift much or drive.
I love a PJ day Dwmx and thought I was the only person that planned one into my life every so often!!
Work is beckoning, take care my friends snd keep smiling ?

Beechnut Mon 24-May-21 07:08:14

Good Morning all from damp Severnside.

I had a message from BeechNutella yesterday to arrange a FaceTime as she had finished work although still on call. She was going to shower first and as I know how long her showers can take ? I went out to edge my lawn. We had a nice chat and a few laughs.

I did some work in the greenhouse, bbrrr was it cold, I had to shut the door and window.

Today I’ve got housework, letter writing and cheese and potato pie with beetroot. A favourite meal I brought from my family home.

Take care all ?

brook2704 Mon 24-May-21 07:20:50

Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s raining again. Oh well hopefully it’ll dry up and gradually get better this week
A PJ day sounds just what you need dwm you’re always on the go so I hope you enjoy relaxing a little bit with some ‘me’ time
It’s my last day on my own today as DH is home later after visiting his AC and DGC who all live in the Greater Manchester area. It sound like they’ve all had a great time catching up and eating out in various places, he’ll be happy when he gets home tonight. I’m popping out to the shops this morning but nothing else planned.
DS in Switzerland is having his covid vaccine today so that’s 2 out of 3 AC done, it’s just my DD2 here in Inverness still waiting
Hope you feel ok today Gaga take care
Hope everyone finds something to enjoy today and take care all whatever the day brings ?

Good morning all from a bright North Leicestershire.

We had a lovely day yesterday with DD3 and family. We were excited to see all their plans for the house but, goodness me, the house is in a real mess! It will be lovely when it's finished. grin

A pootling and faffing day for me today.

GrannyGravy13 Mon 24-May-21 07:22:50

Morning Mick and all

Gym this morning, then I have some sewing/mending to do (I have been putting it off for so long)

Kind safe and well folks ?‍♀️?

Good morning everyone from sunny N Bucks. To mix my metaphors, you’d think the butter wouldn’t melt in today’s weathers mouth!
It is hard on those who plan or depend on weekend activities though isn’t it? I have yet to hear if D and SIL’s glamping weekend which was meant as a birthday treat was fun or a total washout- don’t like to ask.
Today I have the last Art History Class- I have really enjoyed these plus the contact with the group who have become friends, but a bit of me is “Zoomed out”.
More activity planned for the week though, a couple of lunches and coffees out. Maybe life as we knew it is picking up.
Wishing you all a pleasant day.

CherryCezzy Mon 24-May-21 07:29:30

Good morning everyone from grey Gower.

I'm a bit chewed up and foggy this morning after having a nasty seizure in the night ☹️. Perhaps all that excitement of my footie team winning yesterday and getting a Europa League position for next season, a very rare occurrence for my team ?.
That being said I'll just say I hope everyone has a good start to the week and know that I'm thinking of you all ❤️

brook2704 Mon 24-May-21 07:32:33

Cherry sorry you’re feeling a bit washed out, take care ?
Hope you feel a bit brighter soon grannytilly enjoy your coffee and chat with your friend later

Grandmabatty Mon 24-May-21 07:34:13

Good morning all from a damp and cold and breezy Polmont. May really has been poor here. Hopefully June will be warmer and sunnier. Enjoy your day Dwym. A day recharging the batteries is so good for you.
I was only up once last night so I'm feeling fine this morning. It's a babysitting one today so we'll see what His Lordship fancies doing. Have a good day all.

Alygran Mon 24-May-21 07:41:10

A quick good morning from North Yorkshire. It’s a bit brighter today.
Decorators due in an hour and I still have some bits to move and curtains to take down. I couldn’t face sitting in an empty room last night.
Have a good day everyone

Gwenisgreat1 Mon 24-May-21 07:41:25

Good morning all from sunny Harrogate
Today DH has a CT scan at the hospital then comes home to have a telephone appointment with his doc. DH has a severe problem with nasal polyps and has twice refused an op to remove them, but is now desperately needing one just so he can breathe and eat!!
I fear I shall have to pay for him to have it privately done
I shall be clearing the house annex ready for relatives to stay. It will take up most of the week! And this pm busy on the phone
Hope Grandmajets procedure went well - thinking of her
Have the best day possible folks

Greyduster Mon 24-May-21 07:44:07

Food morning, Michael and all GNs. The sun is trying its hardest to do the business this morning. Brilliant blue sky in the west and cloud bubbling up in the East, but it’s still cold. I have just managed to drop a digestive biscuit in my coffee and some of it down my dressing gown sleeve, so not a good start to the morning! I’ve no idea what’s on the agenda today - suck it and see! May have a walk if it stays dry.
Take care, all, and enjoy whatever your day presents.

ginny Mon 24-May-21 07:54:43

Good Morning all. The early sun is still trying hard to fight off the clouds.
DH is off to golf so I’ll have a morning of pottering and then maybe go to the local nursery. I need some annuals and a couple of plants for some pots.
Thoughts for all with troubles and hope you all find a ? today.

Sar53 Mon 24-May-21 07:54:44

Good morning from a bright and sunny Essex by the sea.
DH came to DD1's house yesterday for Sunday lunch and then we came home. Unfortunately a lorry had broken down just before the tunnel entrance at Dartford and the journey took twice as long as normal. DH cheered up as his team have won a place in Europe at the expense of my team. I'm happy for him and to be honest I never expected my team to win ⚽️⚽️.
I had a lovely time with DD2 and family. In just over 2 weeks I will be with DD1.
I am having my hair cut at lunchtime today and then I must replenish the fridge.
Have a pleasant Monday and find a ? xx

NannyJan53 Mon 24-May-21 07:57:14

Good morning from a much brighter Black Country, after it rained heavily yesterday evening.

Today we are driving down to Somerset again to the caravan, then on Wednesday taking it to Lyme Regis for a week. So this morning sees last minute clothes packing and loading the car.

Hope you start to feel much brighter today grannytilly and enjoy your meet up.

Good morning all from a sunny Essex.

Did an hours tidying up in our tiny garden, and it’s all looking neat and pretty. No damage from the wind thank goodness.
We were just about to dish up our latish dinner yesterday, when DS1 and family arrived for a cuppa. They had been out for lunch and thought they’d pop in. Never mind I turned off the oven and sat and had a chat for an hour and our dinner hadn’t suffered, (too much) ??.

Today, my Chimes class is restarting this afternoon. It will be good to have a laugh and—try to— make music again. ?.

I’m picking up some tomato plants from a friend who grows too many and always likes to give some away. Different varieties .

Have a good day! ?

cornergran Mon 24-May-21 08:00:13

Morning Mick, morning All from a soggy corner of Somerset. Grey sky and steady rain, a repeat of yesterday.

Summer clothes sorted yesterday, four bags to go to charity shops, all we need now is summer. Catch up admin this morning, an order to collect at M&S and perhaps a phone call or two this afternoon. Pleasant enough day ahead.

Look after yourselves everyone, hope Monday is kind to us all.

Supermarket shop is today's outing.
Love to all x
