About 100 miles from where I was born & in a different jurisdiction. Lived in other countries when younger.

Slightly less than 25 miles not that far!

I have gone a bit further away from my home town each time I moved. Now about 60 miles away.

I live about a mile from the house I was born in!

I live 250 miles away from where I was born but still gets yearnings to go back north, to my roots.

I am now living 5 miles from where I lived for 3 years in my early teens and in the same village that contains the premises my father worked in.

For this self-selecting sample, mostly the 70% of people live within 30 miles of where they were born idea seems wrong.

About 60 miles. Until I was in my late 50s I never lived more than 10 miles from my birthplace in Central London.

Born in London, still live in London although about 10 miles from where I was born.

150 miles, born in Northampton moved to East Sussex coast on graduating. Had to put distance between myself and my toxic mother. Best thing I ever did, the coast around here is fabulous, we are within 10 mins drive of Forest and country park, Beachey Head is 15 mins away. Nice walks locally along the sea front. We often visit the New Forest & dream of moving there, but we have done so much work on this house & I would miss the sea & this is area is lovely, if not very friendly!!
