There’s an amusing side to any story and yesterday provided one; probably not for the participants
As a result of all borders being closed to Victorians by other States, the Ghan train was stopped on its way from Adelaide to Darwin in the middle of nowhere and 32 Victorian passengers were taken off. I expected the news report to say they were lined up and left behind, but they were placed in quarantine in Alice Springs.
I can think of worse places; no idea if they have to stay 14 days..

Aveline No need to swoon over my inventory of safety aids. Some of it duplicates things in the house and others in the garden, With 6 steps down to the garden, both at front and rear, it saves having to lug a rollator up and down. by having one indoors and one out!
Also removes risk of falling down steps! and much cheaper than visit to hospital!
Tonight's doco was on “The most beautiful railways” ; this time a nostalgic trip on the steam “Jacobite” Lovely scenery including shots of Waverley station, which looked very nice in the sun’ We have the DVD cab ride version, but this programme also had interesting stories regarding the route!
We’re having ideal weather for a lock down, stay indoors week-end with even colder weather just ahead, so our turn to envy you with your out and about lunches.
