What i meant was as an image in our head we saw her confident and elegent dancing with a handsome man what I see in the statue is some kind of Eglentine Price with a few evacuees in 1980s dated clobber.

I agree with Callistemon. This does not portray the Diana I remember. She looks older and indeed grim. The Diana I remember was caring and compassionate but also young, fun loving and beautiful.

Maddyoneit's a lost-wax casting in bronze. It's not carved.
It was cast at Castle Fine Arts Foundry, in Llanrhaeadr where they have cast lots of artworks including other works by this sculptor.

Not sure what your point is ? Never said she was a great dancer but it was a pretty special moment and she looked stunning.
