Yes. I'm terrified of heights and I'd be quivering like a leaf, but if the structure did give way with me doggy-paddling in it, what a way to go!
I don't fancy walking under it though and looking up to see a lot of fat white bottoms bobbing around above my head

JdotJ Thu 03-Jun-21 10:44:15

Ooooh, yes!

It's made me feel quite poorly just thinking about it.

Me too-my stomach just dropped when I saw it!

Callistemon Wed 02-Jun-21 20:52:02

No, I wouldnt.
I could not step on the glass floor, "The Walk of Faith", at the top of Blackpool Tower.

kittylester Wed 02-Jun-21 20:43:31

But seeing how high you are would make a MASSIVE difference to me!!

Whitewavemark2 Wed 02-Jun-21 20:39:25

If you are swimming height makes no difference weirdly.

I will be contacting the developer in the morning to buy one of the flats with rights to use this pool!

mrshat Wed 02-Jun-21 19:54:28

A definite NO from me!

GrannyGravy13 Wed 02-Jun-21 15:25:51

I am not a fan of heights nor a confident swimmer but I would love to try it out, just the once.

lovebeigecardigans1955 Wed 02-Jun-21 15:17:59

Heights and water together - I think not!

3nanny6 Wed 02-Jun-21 12:52:17

No thank-you I would be too queasy up there looking down on the London Eye. Slight problem to many you have to be a resident in the apartments that it is built around heard them
talking about it on the news today.

FannyCornforth

It's a combination of so many phobias...

Isn't it just! Water, height, bathing costumes, varicose vein exposure, my hair.......grin

henetha Wed 02-Jun-21 09:31:20

I certainly would have when I was younger. Not sure now I'm ancient.

lemongrove Wed 02-Jun-21 09:17:56

Saw this on the news yesterday.....NO!!!!!

Wow! That’s amazing but not for me.

timetogo2016 Wed 02-Jun-21 08:46:03

ERRRRRRRRRRRRRM NO.

Elrel Wed 02-Jun-21 00:17:12

No!

Namsnanny Tue 01-Jun-21 23:21:07

More to the point, a distorted vision of me, seen from below???
envyblush (not envy!)

I doubt anyone could be persuaded to walk underneath if you paid them.

But would I like to swim in it, Yes!!

Ro60 Tue 01-Jun-21 23:01:14

Ooh yes - my kind if extreme swimming.?

About the only thing in our world today that is transparent.

MrsAllboys Tue 01-Jun-21 22:47:10

The driving a car thing isn't quite the same. Although a random crash can come from nowhere, for the most part one has some form of control. In a floating swimming pool (as on the 100metre glass bridge) there is no control at all!

Hellogirl1

If I could swim, yes, I would.

Ditto. I don’t think I’d be allowed in with my armbands. A tasteful cork float might be acceptable though?

BlueBelle Tue 01-Jun-21 22:29:18

Nope I m not a thrill seeker and walking on a glass floor high up in the sky once was enough for me

Hellogirl1 Tue 01-Jun-21 22:26:27

If I could swim, yes, I would.

NotTooOld Tue 01-Jun-21 22:23:15

It looks wonderful but I have no head for heights so you wouldn't get me up there. I imagine my daughter would be first to dive in, though!
