Say or think what you like but you cannot ignore our Queen sitting celebrating her official birthday watching 'Trooping the Colour' parade. Looking absolutely wonderful having just lost her devoted husband, attended the G7 gathering and with everything else she has had to endure very recently with all the upheaval of family relationships. She carries it off so well. Now I know not everyone will agree with my sentiments but please credit where credit is due - surely!
She did look very happy. I suspect that, in spite of the pain of losing Philip, she must feel better now she doesn't have to worry about him. The last couple of years must have been very hard. Even with the best medical care in the world you are always aware that something may go wrong.
Just watching The Windsors on channel 4. Interesting insight into the family from Diana to now. Prince Harry talking in 2017 about their mental health foundation and how he felt he hadn’t talked enough about the loss of his mother, especially he and William (William’s word)
She did look very well and happy to be there, the Duke of Kent looked very unsteady walking to the dais behind her though I was fearful he would stumble, I believe he is 85.
clever to have his walking stick disguised as a sword

I think she’s incredible, after losing her husband so recently, she’s out there smiling and chatting to people she doesn’t know and probably won’t see again.(apart from BJ of course) She looks as though she was enjoying herself.
I know that I wouldn’t want to do it.
As another poster has said Duty first and foremost.
Was wonderful to see, her smile lights up her whole face. She must be hurting dreadfully inside, but you wouldn’t know it. Gracious and duty first always, Never apologise Berylsgranny for what you say, if people don’t like it they can scroll past.
