Good Morning Everyone,
Its a grey ,wet and miserable start here in Brackley this morning.
Today a small early shop , before having a coffee mid morning , basically a quiet day .
Looking ahead to watching the Tour De France on TV from tomorrow .
Take Care,
Mick

You’re welcome to some of our sunshine LauraNorder, it is a very pleasant 25° at the moment with a clear blue sky to go with it. It’s supposed to reach 30° plus later so that will be doors closed to keep the heat out for most of the afternoon.

AuntiFlo I hope the Occupational Therapist is able to help and advise you. You seem to have organised Robbie well. Mine makes a dash for the great outdoors if I leave him unsupervised for long.

Sunshine ☀️ for anyone who needs some.

Good morning, Mick and everyone from a dark and very wet Carlisle where the temperature is a mere 11C. My central heating is on....
I've just had my Tesco delivery in which I discovered an unordered item, a large pack of chicken thighs. I rarely eat the thighs and when I do they're always free range which these are not. To bin or not to bin...poor chickens, a sad end to a sad life.
Last week it was a bottle of wine which they let me keep gratis. That's a different matter entirely!
Otherwise, it will be a quiet day with no gardening. Yesterday, I managed to hack in another shrub rose. I have never seen such execrable soil, I'd like to know where the builders unearthed it. Lots of compost is having to go in.
I hope all those getting away have a good time and good weather and thinking about all those who are currently not posting...wishing you well.

Good afternoon from the Scottish Borders where I've been busy all morning preparing my garden for a party tomorrow.
It's to be a thankyou to all the volunteers at our community shop and, as I have said before, the midges are not invited but will probably gatecrash.
We've borrowed gazebos, chairs and tables, crockery and cutlery and anything that resembles a table cloth.
I'm excused baking since I have no oven.
The only thing now is for decent weather and I'm afraid the forecast is not good.

How lovely to be on the steam train Marydoll
I was on it when it went on the newly re-opened, Waverley Line - Borders Railway.

Your DF's painting is beautiful Alizarin
Aligran I love your roses.
Have a great weekend everyone.
