Good Morning Everyone,
Its a cloudy start but the ground is dry at the moment here in Brackley .
Today , a busy one in away , housework followed by a haircut , then late morning get the bus to Bicester for usual hour, then return to relax with Tour De France on Tv and watch it slowly unfold as no twp. stages are the same , mainly seeing how the Brits perform.
Take Care ,
Mick

Good morning from a sunny Morecambe Bay. I’m saddened this morning to hear about Grandmajet Thank you Brook for letting us know.
Thank you for the too for the many compliments regarding my hare. I will get his whiskers and toes done one day. Take care and stay safe everyone ?
Sorry to hear the sad news about Grandmajet. Condolences to her family.
Good morning from a grey Essex.
RIP Grandmajet ?
DH Is going fishing today, so the world is my oyster.
Last evening I watched the Andy Murray game, . Great tennis from both players but oh my goodness he’s so frustrating. ?.
Ash I’ve sent a pic of our chimes. It’s difficult to describe them. Six of us sit round and have our own sheet music with our notes highlighted. You don’t need to be able to read music but need to concentrate and come in at the right time. You can imagine the hilarity at times. ?.
Here’s hoping poorly or worried folk find some respite ???
Good morning from North Yorkshire where it is sunny again.
So sorry to hear the news about grandmajet. My condolences to her family
Good morning to Mick and all from Mid Cornwall. Damp start with rain during the night.
Read the first few posts and what an idyllic start to the day you’re having.
I read more later today
Hive of activity here today. Woodman Rich has arrived to clear the track and assess which trees which will be coppiced. Phil and Josh, groundwork team back to continue drainage work. Sad news is the rains have brought down some of the trench sides. I can see it will take a full day to clear them before pipes can be laid ??.
DD, DGD and I + ? are off to Wadebridge today then a short coastal walk. Looks like it will be fine all day.
May the day bring many joys.
????
My long post had just disappeared. ??
Such news about jet. Thank you for letting me know brook
Will be back later to try again with my update news from mid Cornwall
???
Agh!!! There’s my post. No idea how that happened. My finger went no where the POST button.
So sorry to read the news about Grandmajet. She was a standout poster and will be much missed. Thank you Brook for passing on the news.
Good morning from a dry and bright S Welsh coast. The predicted thunderstorms did not materialise, we benefit from a micro climate here.
I'm very sad to hear about grandmajet and send my condolences to her family ?
I hope the day will be kind to us all.
Such sad news about Grandmajet, I will miss her lovely upbeat and often funny posts. Rest in peace dear lady.
The sad news of Grandmajet puts other minor annoyances in perspective. Dishwasher man seems to have sorted the machine out but as he couldn’t find anything wrong we may not be in the clear. Visit to the hairdresser the highlight of the day - indeed the week - with ironing and tennis as well. Not interested in football but wish England well.
So sad to hear the news about Grandmajet. She will be much missed on this thread.
Feeling chilly here today in Northampton, and very cloudy. Hope it stays dry for our health walk this afternoon. Have put some washing in the machine, but may have to use the tumble dryer.
Take care and stay safe everyone.
Good morning Auntyflo and all x
Good morning Mick and all his followers. Grey but dry so far in Suffolk.
Sad news this morning about GrandmaJet. Thank you Brook
We are off to Derbyshire shortly so we shall have company for the football which will be a lively game we hope.
Andy Murray’s match was very exciting last night - even DH was interested!
I stocked up at the supermarket yesterday and opened the car boot to find it full of mushroom compost! I had completely forgotten it, although I had been noticing a strange, musty smell. Shopping had to fit onto the back seat along with the other rubbish which is normally in the boot.
Well done on getting back to your allotment so soon Alizarin and I hope you enjoy your visit today.
Enjoy your day everyone and I hope it is kind to us all.
So sorry to hear of Grandmajet's death. My sincere condolences to her family. How thoughtful of her daughter to let us know.
Good morning. Dull here in Cheshire.
Very sad news about one of our posters. Condolences to the family of Grandmajet - she posted so positively while being clearly very ill.
Good wishes to all. Hope the day brings some good things.
Good morning all , such sad news
I’ve been trying to take a break from social media but have ‘looked in’ to GN to see how everyone is. I am very sorry to read the news of Grandmajet. She took such a brave decision to go for surgery, knowing the risk.
Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Cool and overcast in South Yorkshire. Last minute preparations today for an overnight stay by DS and DiL tomorrow. Some baking.
Very sad to hear about GrandmaJet; my condolences to her family?.
Have the best day you can folks.
I hadn't been posting but have been reading posts ,had to send my condolences to Grandmajets family may she RIP.?
Morning all from a gradually brightening sky - though there's still plenty of cloud about. I've risked putting the sheets in the wash with the aim of drying them outdoors, but time will tell - yesterday I had to bring in the washing as it began raining (just after I'd watered all the pot plants outside, too).
Sad news about Grandmajet. I send my condolences to her family ?. Thank you Brook for letting us all know. She was a brave lady.
Take care, everyone.
Good morning from the Sefton coast.
I’m so sad to read the news about grandmajet. Thank you brook for passing on our condolences. x
Good morning all, I’ve just got completely sidetracked by reading the porridge thread but it’s a lovely day again, blue sky ,the sun halfway across the valley already and temperatures set to rise to 30°C later. The last bit I’m not too sure about.
I don’t know how you can find watching the tour relaxing Mick. It’s like some gigantic machine rushing by. Still fascinating though, even if as soon as I look away someone crashes.?
Good morning Mick and all from hot, hot, humid Lueneburg. I could do with Grandmafrench`s swimming pool.
I just managed to tidy the garage and the shed a little bit yesterday. Mostly I was reading my book whilst lying on the sun lounge and that got rather boring. Rain and storms are forecast for tomorrow. I love the hare Gelisagram. So sad about Grandmajet. Marydoll I enjoy your mood lifting chats and I hope the hospital visit today goes smoothly. I had some lovely messages from my future neighbours - I think that is so sweet. Alizarin enjoy your allotment, but take it easy.
I shall be doing some weeding now before the rain starts and this evening I shall not watch "The football game" but peep in now and then. Have a gentle day all and keep well.
