Not quite on topic, but a bit of nostalgia.
I remember Cadbury's chocolate bars for 6d old money, late 1950s early 1960s. All but one type was a grid of chocolate pillows, either ten arranged as two by five or twelve arranged two by six, I don't remember that detail, and each pillow was filled with the same flavour of liquidy stuff. I remember that one type was strawberry, one was coffee, there were various others but I forget the details.
The odd one out was a remarkable treat. It was a one-piece chocolate slab but with about six or seven moulded shapes, each different from the o, thers, each of which contained a different stuff. It was a mini-bar version of a box of milk tray chocolates. Amazing for 6d.
Thinking back from my present knowledge, someone would have needed to have made a mould for the machinery to produce that. Quite a work of art really. I wonder if they still have it in a museum-like collection somewhere.
Can anyone recommend a good dish draining rack please?
