I have a memory of the lower cupboard of an kitchen 'dresser' jammed full of tins in my Granmother's house.... having survived two world wars, she called them her "Iron Rations" . Then upstairs in a bedroom drawer were bags and bags of sugar from some time when there was a shortage of same but not from Wartime. Long before things had dates on them! and she lived on to nearly 90 yrs.
Do you get a mot at the doctors?
