Love my tins!
My absolute staples - of which you will find enough to see me through an apocalypse (served me well when the pandemic hit) - are tinned tomatoes (plum and chopped), sardines (both tomato sauce & oil), tuna, kidney beans and chickpeas. I keep the above in enormous numbers. It's a rare week if I don't use at least 2 tins of sardines and kidney beans. Baked beans too, but not in such quantities.
Pre-pandemic people laughed, but I seriously have a cupboard that is just full of sardines.
There will be some sort of tinned fruit (probably pineapple, peaches or mandarins), usually some kind of soup, vegetables - probably peas and sweetcorn - and often other pulses.
I have loads of random things in there at the moment thanks to the pandemic and shielding, but beyond that what I have in will depend on what's cheap! If I come across it and it's cheap, that's what I'll be eating.
I have a shelf of dried pulses/pasta/rice/grains and am also in possession of a "drinks" (hot choc instead of coffee on mine) shelf!
Do you get a mot at the doctors?

. Cant abide them myself but Son in law loves them
But why heartburn, MissA - does it give you heartburn or ease it?
