Hi Rufus. I’m having an exciting evening as I’m going to watch Netflix. I’m told there’s a sci fi film on it called Oxygen that’s supposed to be really good.
I watched one the other night about a psychologist with agoraphobia seeing a murder through her window but the last ten minutes were horrid so I had to put my hand over my eyes. I hate violent films. I usually only watch 12’s but have been caught out with them as well. A 12 rating film I saw last week had virtually naked women gyrating all over the place and then someone got graphically beaten up. No wonder kids are so messed up nowadays !
It’s a long way from Dickie Henderson and Millicent Martin being on the telly.
We used to think fishnet tights were a bit risqué.
Hope you have a lovely weekend and all good things come your way. ???

No chip butties here Rufus. Just talking about those and crisp sandwiches with MrM this afternoon.

Cornish crab, salad and crusty bread here for tonight’s al fresco meal ?.

5th lockdown is not good. Cornwall is heaving and I fear UK will do an about turn. I’ll be keep my mask on?. Stocked up with more tests last week.

Evening Rufus a lovely day here, partner is cutting the grass as I type.
I also have covid fatigue at the moment, I still give people space and wear my mask, but I do go out and make sure I go to my restaurants.
Sleep well.

Hi Rufus2 I certainly don't want rain the way poor Germany has. It looks awful. Those poor souls.
I forgot that I had taken a pic from the hotel window. It's attached. Not v high quality I'm afraid. The pic not the view!
Ian sounds like he's making steady progress. Apparently, I'm to go straight to sticks. No crutches or walker. Not sure what I think of that.
We've sort of got Covid fatigue and gave up watching TV updates. Things are open, shut, open shut etc. We'll use our judgement, mask up as appropriate, use sanitisers and avoid crowded places. Of course we're both double jabbed.
Drinks out in the gardens with neighbours from our flats tonight. Should be fun. DH has crisps - I'm more excited about them than the wine to be honest!
Stay safe.

Hi Rufus, no street parties here, still wary and I’ve just read Norovirus is now dong the rounds, good grief.
We’ve heat for the next three days, storms predicted from Monday afternoon, nothing like Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands I hope. It’s catastrophic there, water is so powerful and quick, very scary.
Just dug up some new potatoes from the allotment to have with our family bbq on Sunday and been to the village butcher. Tesco kindly delivered groceries earlier. I was wondering, as you do, what these lovely delivery people do if they need the toilet when they’re out and about. Especially on a hot day when they’re glugging lots of water, I suppose I’ll have to ask them next week.
Anyway, Friday catch up at the local in a while, sun cream and hat, I have a shirt on ?
Take care ?

Good Evening Friesday! Put those chip butties away and concentrate!
You think you’ve got problems, but Germany and the Netherlands certainly have more than their fair share. TV News pictures are horrific and it seemed to happen without warning. sad
Sorry to read you're fed up Aveline, please be careful with your wishes for rain . given what’s going on elsewhere! Being hot is better than going out on the tide!
Hope you had a nice “Room with a View”; Yes, I still play it every day !
Now you’re all set up for your Hip-Hop!
Ian is up and about; only one crutch and one visit a week from physio.
Only 3 weeks to go before I have him running around for my shopping again! hmm
No.5 lockdown is underway; TV News showing deserted streets, although the weather is helping; definitely a stay indoors weekend.
I see from our weather charts that you are suffering 28C!
Our vaccination situation is still slow; there are constant edicts stating
which age demographic can now get which vaccine, but I haven’t been pressured yet!
My only visitors with lockdowns are a nurse twice a week; otherwise I Zoom everywhere and shop on line.
Infinity2 My life is far more exciting than yours! I’ve been de-cluttering my frig. (eating) Now I can do a stocktake in seconds without having to move anything!
The freezer will be different, but I rely on stuff in there keeping forever.

Megs Good to hear your Grandson managed to beat the system, although he would find it harder now with all States shutting their borders.
“Freedom Day” Sounds good! Are you all having street parties like they did with VE- Day and VJ Day?

Good Health wine wine wine
