I am the same on GN. When I see a long post I can't be bothered to read it although I have all the time in the world!

Another one here feeling the same. I have a huge pile of books to get through but can’t be bothered with those even. I listened to a couple of audio books during the first lockdown and think I read 1 actual book but no nada nothing more. Lockdown has a lot to answer for.

I’m blaming it all on lockdown. The world seemed to grind to a halt and my enthusiasm and interest slowed down too.
I also think that getting older, knowing we are not going to be here forever, we sometimes don’t have the patience to ponder complexities and just move on to something easier and more enjoyable.

Is my brain seizing up due to old age? I just cannot be bothered any more. I reach for the calculator for the easiest sum, I give up half way through articles because they require too much concentration.

OH and I have always had discussions over breakfast about things in the news - this morning it was about the shape of the earth. It is an ellipsoid. I had to look it up and gave up reading the explanation as it was too hard for my brain!

Does anyone else get like this?
