James Dean in the late fifties., when I returned from honeymoon in 1960 it had disappeared!!

Unfortunately I wasn’t allowed to put up anything on my bedroom walls. (And I was an only child)

I had David Cassidy too - the one from Jackie that came in several parts so you had to make sure it was properly aligned!!
Well I had several poster/ pictures of him - he was such a beautiful young man!
I also had a couple of the Osmonds and a David Essex one too after I met him at Godspell.
They are all in a scrapbook now

They hadn't invented posters when I was in my teens!! Would probably have been Tommy Steele or Elvis Presley if I could have afforded one!

I wasn`t allowed posters, but I had a large framed photo of Huw Thomas, the ITN newscaster, I had quite a thing for him over several years.

As a young teenager is was Brian Hyland, Fabian and Kookie - then years later, on the day I got married, I gave my precious Steve McQueen poster to my bridesmaid.

Donny Osmond and David Essex adorned my walls.

None at all, Pop music was something I listened to, but I was indifferent to the performers.

David Cassidy was my heartthrob - and I listened to Radio Caroline on a transistor radio. Heady times … ?

Gracesnan, Reggie Bosanquet was alright, but not a patch on Huw Thomas! I had it all planned out that when I was 20 I was going to go to London, meet him and marry him, but then when I was 19 he married someone else, I was heartbroken.
