Good morning everyone from a grey Northampton, at least it is not raining. We had really heavy thundery showers again yesterday. I thank my lucky stars we had our holiday last week; this week would have been miserable.

Looks like it will be a day of watching the Olympics, the newspaper and puzzles, and reading for me. I was awake in the middle of the night and managed to catch the mixed swimming relay on the radio, and have just watched it on tv, a very exciting race.

Trying to keep away from the snack cupboard, as I am determined to lose some of this 'pandemic ' weight! Am kept occupied by noting everything down on the NHS weightloss app.

Have a good day everyone, and take care.

Good morning all from an overcast S Hants. Hope MrH feels a wee bit better today Harrigran.
Imogen’s surfing lesson rescheduled to tomorrow, too dangerous yesterday, I see your on the opposite ‘side’ Ash, enjoy your break.
We have an odd lunch ‘do’ to attend today, difficult to explain, but it’s only 10 minutes away. Rain forecast later, so it’ll be a newspaper day.we watched the cricket last night, so exciting I’ve booked tickets for the 11th.
Have a lovely Saturday all xx
Pic of Fin and Imogen, the sun appeared late in the day.

Good morning from a dull Oxfordshire, hope the rain holds off as we are erecting the potting shed today, then the plan is that I will paint it inside and out during the week. Inside will be fine, but will probably have to dodge the rain for the outside.
Then I’ll have to sort and clear the old shed ready for it to be plastered and painted, at least the outside is finished on that one. Then a swan will emerge from what has been an ugly duckling for over 50 years, hopefully!
Best wishes for a better day for some and a good day for others.

Good morning everyone from our little holiday cottage just outside St Andrews. It’s quite grey this morning and some rain forecast but it’s not going to dampen our spirits. We had a lovely drive down here yesterday, we stopped off on the way at NT property, Falkland Palace and Gardens which was very interesting with an excellent tour guide who brought it all to life. After we’d settled in to the cottage we went out in the evening and enjoyed fish and chips sat on the harbour front at Pittenweem.
Today we’re going to have a look around St Andrews Castle and a walk around the town.
Sending ❤️ harrigran
Hoping everyone finds something to enjoy today, however small and take care all whatever the day brings ?

Good Morning all from East Staffordshire where it looks like we have a wet day in store.
Off to do the park run soon, then I have a physio appointment for my shoulder this lunchtime.
The poor guinea pigs will have to wait for a cllean house until this afternoon now.
DGS will be sleeping over tonight as DD and DSiL are off to London on Sunday to take their new baby to see her new cousin and think it may be a bit too much for the 2 year old.
Have the best day you can folks❤️
Thinking of our absentees and hope they are all well.❤️

Morning all. Very early for me. Been awake since 5am for unknown reasons.
Nice pics Ash Shame about the weather. Dreary here in Cheshire too.
Family driving home from the Highlands today. Will need to try to curb new habit of talking to myself ! Have been doing it a lot this week?
Hope a good weekend ahead for all and that those of you with big worries get some respite. Thinking of Harrigran and her DH in particular. Hopefully sickness should have eased by now.

Good morning Michael from an overcast NE again.
My sister will visit this afternoon and bring me a freshly baked savoury flan and an apple pie.
DH spent the day in bed yesterday so I washed piles of towels and got them all dry while I had the kitchen to myself.
DD not visiting today, she is going to see her brother and his family, all working from home during the week but she starts early as she is working on Brussels time.
Weather forecast is poor today so housework will get done.

Good morning, everyone, from a dreary Torbay. Unfortunately, a spell of wet weather is forecast to coincide with me spending a week or so at my holiday home to welcome visitors!

Yes, Mick, there are spaces on supermarket shelves here, too, attributed to a general shortage of delivery drivers, caused by some isolating but also to drivers returning to home countries due to Brexit.

I had a super day yesterday with my DS and DGS3. After a delicious lunch in The Buccaneer Inn, we rode the funicular railway down to Oddicombe Beach, where a few brave folk were swimming or canoeing. (see photos) We were well wrapped up against the wind although it was more sheltered in the lee of the cliffs.

Today, I shall complete an early Lidl shop before setting off for Dartmoor View, so I might be offline for a few days. Happy weekend to all, whatever you have planned. ???

Good Morning Everyone,
Its a cloudy start here in brackley this morning.
Plans for the day , I am going to Bicester via Buckingham both ways today ,and will have an all day breakfast in Buckingham, and also browse flea market
Yesterdays planned Fish & Chips did not happen ,arrived at Sainsburys Cafe ,and not working to full menu , so decided to come home and get a take away .
I have also noticed in Sainsburys as well , empty shelves especially biscuits are appearing , so with covid stock is not being replenished as fast as normal .
Take Care,
Mick
