Good Morning everyone from Severnside. Micks Brackley weather is also on Severnside.

Shopping and bed changing on the cards for my day. A garden centre I like to go to were advertising cyclamen so I took myself off to get some yesterday. There weren’t many left.

I hope your son gets a bed soon Mattie and soon recovers.
Have a good day all and take care ?

Good morning all from a cloudy Glasgow. Its only 7° C outside and our heating kicked in this morning, the house was so cold.

GM and Oopsadaidy, I am sorry to read of your troubles, how worrying and disappointing for you.

In the last few days, we have had an unexpected visit visit from Dollie and her parents, after her first day back at school. For those who know the back story, this is a huge step in DS1's rapprochement with our family, especially as they stayed for a couple of hours. Apparently he has contacted DS2, which has lifted my heart in these last few, sorrowful days.

Unfortunately, I missed a visit from DS2 yesterday, (never visits on a weekday), when I was out sourcing a new fitting for the garden hose. I was messaging him, to tell him that the B&M near his home, was selling off all their garden stuff very cheaply, when he was actually in our home!
I got lots of solar lights at about a third of the original price. Our garden now looks like Blackpool illuminations! We are still awaiting the missing glass for the decking, so nothing can be put back in order.

As Mick would say, a small shop today, (we made have a different take on a small shop ), but I will be going out early, when it is quiet, as numbers are rising here among the under forties and many people are now ignoring the compulsory wearing of masks in shops. No-one challenges them!

If anyone wants to listen to Phoenix talking about the challenges she has faced, you can do so here. Its about 29 minutes into it.

Have the best day you can folks.

Good morning everyone from the Sefton coast where it is bright and dry.
I’m sorry to learn about your DGD Oops. Many happy returns for tomorrow. That’s excellent news about Iris, Mattie, but not about your DS2. My fingers are crossed for him. I too have noticed GMfrench has not posted for some days; I do hope she’s okay.
Yesterday’s garden party went extremely well. I was in the company of some excellent bakers and wonderful friends.
Today we’re visiting Liverpool Cathedral to view Peace Doves and Angel Wings, much recommended by a friend. Let’s just say I smiled with significance while suggesting to DH that lunch on the terrace is an attractive proposition…that man just loves picnics.
Whatever you’re doing, enjoy your day and take care.

Good morning from a dry Morecambe Bay. DH has just gone off for a swim. I’ve woken with a headache so can’t drop back off to sleep. I think it’s because I’m a bit tense about the day ahead. I need to get a couple of grass cuts done which should have been done earlier this week, I have a circuits class booked at the gym, the car needs to be cleaned inside and out as a well known firm have offered to buy it for virtually what we paid for it 3 years ago. This has tipped the balance in our deliberations to make the move to full electric, and then we need to take it to them. Then I need to phone our energy supplier to get a smart meter fitted so we can go on their e tariff for cheaper overnight charging. This will no doubt involve a few weeks wait, hence the need to get the ball rolling ASAP.
No Grandmafrench this last few days? I hope she hasn’t melted in the heat! My son is in southern Spain at the moment where it’s up to 47 degrees! He texted to say it was a good job he wasn’t further north where it was forecast 40 degrees or he may have had to buy a coat?.
Wishing everyone the very best of days especially all with worries and family health issues. Take care and stay safe.?

Good Morning all from East Staffordshire where it looks like it will be a good day ☀️
Good morning to Mick
Oops I do hope your GD gets through her COVID as well as my family just have. Sorry your birthday plans have been scuppered.
GM fingers crossed you DS is on the mend quickly.
Had a great day at Great Central Railway with the grandchildren yesterday, today I am taking them both swimming do that will be interesting to see how I manage them both in the changing rooms?
Have a good day folks and take care.

Old morning from a grey but warmer E Kent.
Good news of Iris. Her frame is to be removed before November, probably within 6 weeks - operating schedules permitting.
Had a dreadful night. DS2 had to leave work with acute abdominal pain, GP sent him to A&E where he’s has been admitted with acute pancreatitis or kidney stones. CT later will confirm. He’s on a drip with pain killers and antibiotics but no bed yet. The poor chap’s spent the night in a chair, food- and bed-free. So worried. He’s always had the most precarious health and is my most precious of offspring.
Trust today will bring better news to all my GraMmingos, ???☀️????

Good morning Mick and all who follow, dry and dull so far, but no rain forecast. It looks as though GD has Covid so they won’t be coming to stay for the week which is a pity but nothing I can do about it, another birthday without them tomorrow and a funeral today, so not much fun here at the moment.
Hope all who follow have a good day with some joy and laughter. Hugs for those who aren’t so chipper.

Good Morning Everyone,
A dry but cloudy start this morning, signs that the days are getting shorter as to daylight.
Today , a quiet day in after a shop , and watch TV , I have noticed when out more people are about , but with hidden dangers still about .
Another day trip beckons tomorrow , more later on that .
Take Care,
Mick
