Poor baby - run home to mummy!

So, not only had Prince Andrew run home to mummy, The Queen has let it be known to the regiment that she wants the Duke of York to remain as colonel, and the feeling is that nobody wants to do anything that could cause upset to the colonel-in-chief.'
What about those who have been hurt by this so far by these allegations...... Diddums - poor Andrew, I wonder if The Queen spoon feeds him his breakfast and wipes his botty for him also!

That's the point.
There was a whole lot going on that was not right.
Rich, powerful men were involved, so you can draw your own conclusions about what was happening.

Welshwife Mon 23-Aug-21 16:10:11

I have no idea of whether or not he is guilty but I too question how a child of that age was able to go to all these places without her parents knowing or wondering where she was. Something is not right there.

FannyCornforth Mon 23-Aug-21 16:08:34

Paedophilia involves prepubescent children, and is classed as a psychiatric disorder.

Peasblossom Mon 23-Aug-21 15:54:30

Well anyone can allege anything about anyone else.

Mean I could accuse Grany of sex abuse of a minor. It wouldn’t mean she’d done it but those who don’t like her might chose to believe it.

And then apparent it’s just a little step from alleged to actually stating it as a fact, as Gagajo has just demonstrated.

Alas for our judicial rights and any semblance of unprejudiced intelligence.

Newatthis
'So, not only had Prince Andrew run home to mummy,'
........................................................

What an inane sentence from an adult .

GagaJo Mon 23-Aug-21 15:40:28

I agree grany. Protecting an abuser of a sex trafficked girl. Disgusting.

Germanshepherdsmum Mon 23-Aug-21 15:17:00

A very offensive post Grany. The RF is not an amoral institution and the Queen is not doing anything to protect PA from ‘the forces of justice’.

Germanshepherdsmum Mon 23-Aug-21 15:13:44

OP, I too think your post is childish and unpleasant.
RomRoot, innocent until proven guilty and the sexual assault complained of wouldn’t make anyone a paedophile in this country. The complainant was under the age of consent in the US but not here. I believe Andrew and Fergie remain genuinely close and there was speculation that they might remarry, though not whilst the D of E was alive. I do think you should consider getting your post removed as it is defamatory.

Grany Mon 23-Aug-21 15:13:28

Gerry Hassan
@GerryHassan
This is a brilliant & daring cartoon abt the amoral institution that is the UK Royal Family & the Queen with all her prestige & position using it to protect an alleged child sex abuser who is her son (Prince Andrew) from the forces of justice. From Guy Venables in today's Metro.

Not a fan of PA but as others have said ‘innocent until proven guilty’ is the mantra in our judicial system.

luluaugust Mon 23-Aug-21 14:58:46

I imagine he would be at Balmoral for the shooting this time of year, it may be that it is felt that having Fergie around is useful as he will talk to her rather than confiding in someone else. The fact is none of us know the whole story behind everything that has apparently gone on, how can we. OH and I were speculating over elevenses as to where the woman's parents were at the time her life took the turn it did.

Barmeyoldbat Mon 23-Aug-21 14:52:37

The queen has recently lost her husband and is now where she usually spends the summer, Scotland. Her family, as most families do are supporting her by spending time with her in Balmoral not only is Andrew there but Kate, William and the children have chosen to spend the summer with her, So Andrew is not running home to mummy and as much as I dislike him I believe he is doing the right thing by supporting her in her time of need/

GrannyGravy13 Mon 23-Aug-21 14:13:10

Romroot you should ask for your post to be removed as it is an unproven lie.

Post ridiculous. Andrew, Fergie and Eugenia are HOLIDAYING with the Queen. No one has run home to mummy. Everything happened at the same time unfortunately and fake media news make it look something it’s not.

silverdragon Mon 23-Aug-21 14:02:56

The young woman that PA is supposed to have assaulted - what I want to know is why & how on earth did she get involved with Epstein & Maxwell in the first place, kept being in their circle, and WHERE were her parents whilst all this was going on?

timetogo2016 Mon 23-Aug-21 13:58:52

Innocent until proven otherwise.
He faught in the Falkands, so i believe he should keep his title.
I imagine thats why HRH the Queen isn`t taking the title off him.
Personally, i have no time for him regardless of anything he does or doesn`t do either titled or not.

GrannyGravy13 Mon 23-Aug-21 13:56:09

Any Mother would/will protect their child, he has not been convicted of a crime (as of yet).
If he is convicted at a later date, no doubt as a Mother this will not stop her loving him, maybe she will lose any respect for him?

Grany Mon 23-Aug-21 13:52:29

He has run home to mummy and she is protecting him.

jaylucy Mon 23-Aug-21 13:52:27

How rude are you?
You don't personally know him, you don't know what happened for certain and quite honestly, if HM chose not to support her son, I would be very surprised, just as many mothers would do, title or no title.
The constant Royal Family bashing on here quite frankly sickens me. There are obviously quite a few that weren't told by their parents "If you can't say anything nice, say nothing at all!"

Grany Mon 23-Aug-21 13:51:04

"I know Elizabeth is old by anyone's reckoning but she's also Head of State, and she either shows a sense of decent judgement and a sense of loyalty to 'her' armed forces and the people of the UK - or she abdicates"

FannyCornforth Mon 23-Aug-21 13:46:08

Oh dear Newatthis
This hasn’t gone to plan has it

MawBe Mon 23-Aug-21 13:42:57

OP I think your post is childish and OTT.
I have no affection or indeed respect for Prince Andrew, but to spend time at Balmoral with the Queen is hardly “running home to mummy”
The rest of your post is simply offensive and equally unworthy of comment

rafichagran Mon 23-Aug-21 13:39:04

Childish And horrible post, and I dislike Andrew, but think what you are saying is OTT.

Bluebellwould Mon 23-Aug-21 13:37:10

I have zero tolerance for the supposed antics of PA but his mother, who he is close to, has recently lost her husband and is, presumably grieving still. Perhaps he has gone to comfort her and keep her company, not as you so pejoratively put it ‘running home to mummy’.
