Good morning Mick and all his followers. It’s grey cloud here in Suffolk and I think we had a bit of rain last night. The promised good weather hasn’t made it to East Anglia this week.

WI coffee morning and a recording of Gardeners Question Time this afternoon. Our choir is meeting for the first time tonight, to plan starting again.
A busy day for these times!

Happy birthday Beechnut! Hope you enjoy your day. ?

Good morning everyone from Malaga. Another gorgeous day beckons. We didn’t go to the beach or Arroyo. It was so hot I didn’t fancy walking - mad dogs etc.! We just stayed in the communal gardens. Here is a photo I took yesterday just before we went went down. César, the gardener, cuts the grass according to Andalusian government guidelines showing 2 metre spaces. At the beginning of summer he had to mark it all out in chalk. Now he cuts the furrows regularly and every now and again gives the whole area a lighter ‘once over’ as the longer grass inside each square is quite springy and we all look drunk crossing the areas!

It’s forecast 36°C again today. Shade it is then, under a parasol or a palm tree, with my book. Well ladies, someone has to do it don’t they?

Enjoy Thursday all.

Morning Mick and all

It’s grey here in S E Essex. Off to Chelmsford for school shoes for Master 6 and Converse for The Imp.

Hope to see our missing posters when I pop back later.

Keep safe and well folks ?‍♀️?

Good morning from Northampton where it is a funny old morning weatherwise - sunshine through the back windows, and dark grey cloud through the front. At least it's dry, so I have just put the towels in the washing machine.

A day of catching up, as I was out all day yesterday. A successful outing on the bus, the first time since pre Covid, and I felt ok. We had a browse around the shops and I came away with two dresses to try on! Then into Sainsburys, another first where I successfully returned some ordered clothing. And then home on the bus.

A quick lunch then book club where we had cake, and shared thoughts on the book of the month. I am afraid most of our chat was gossip, and very little time spent on the book!

Glad to say I successfully managed to change the printer ink, using the downloaded manual's very clear instructions, and printed out tickets for a forthcoming rugby match.

A Sainsburys delivery this morning. Then general tidying and pottering. I may cut the grass again. No health walk today and no visit to the pub, as my friend who gives me a lift is off to visit family. So I will be cooking tonight - spicy pork and rice, courtesy of the Hairy Bikers.

Bon voyage Ash, and wishing you a happy re-union. And hoping that all have a pleasant day.

Good morning. Grey again outside in N. Bucks.
Off to the field with Lord Jasper after breakfast . It wears me out just watching him run.
I’m meeting DGS 1. for lunch today so will catch up on his news. I might have a look in a few shops afterwards but it’s not something that appeals to me much these days.
I will have to choose my food carefully asI am also out for dinner this evening with one of our craft groups. It will be the first time we have all met since January 2020. There will be a real buzz !
Wishing you all a good day.

Good morning from a cloudy and cool Oxfordshire, Carpenter here any minute to turn unused side entrance into a long shed, all the contents of old shed will go in there over the weekend and work on the now to be called ‘cabin’ ( old shed) can go ahead to turn it into a blissful retreat / another dumping ground for household objects that I can’t bear to throw out.
Have a good day all , safe trip Ash traffic along the South Coast I’d usually one long traffic jam.
Virtual Hugs to those in need of one and a good day to all.

Good morning from cloudy West Berkshire.
A full day today at the foodbank which I love .
Have a safe journey Ash and a wonderful reunion!

Best wishes to all who follow for a kind day.

Good Morning everyone from Severnside where it is dry and dull.
I hope it brightens up later as it’s my birthday and I want to spend it pottering in the garden. I plan to make a lasagne for my lunch with a G&T toast.

Beechnutella came to collect my grand dog yesterday evening so I haven’t got him pinning my leg to the bed this morning. Our walks together were slower than usual, probably because there was so much that he hadn’t sniffed for a long time rather than thinking of my aching back ???

Have a good day all and hope there aren’t too many worries. Safe crossing Ash ?

Good morning Mick, morning all from South Lanarkshire where it’s overcast at the moment.

Our usual Thursday childminding afternoon, so nursery pickup, gymnastics class and a picnic on the beach before we take them home.

Wishing everyone a peaceful day. ?

Good morning Tom a brightish E Kent. I can see a contrail! We normally have loads as planes go past the Dover beacon, but not since COVID…
Mick, I suspect you watch the Vuelta partly for the cycling and partly for the travelogue/scenery! ? Ash, I hope you have a good journey, and I wish you both well for your undoubtedly joyful reunion!❤️
My craft group went well enough, but wasn’t my cup of tea. I really enjoy the company of the ladies there, they really are a very nice bunch. The traffic was horrendous; queues, cones, temporary traffic lights, road works….
I’m taking my aged friend out today, I sincerely hope she is less querulous. She can be very trying. My good deed for the day!
I hope the sad, anxious and poorly are in a better place today ???☀️???

Good morning from an overcast morning in Portsmouth where I arrived safely last night after a tedious journey, much of which was at snail’s pace due to heavy traffic from Dorchester onwards.

Early check in 1.5 hours before sailing is required since Covid so I must get going. Thank you for all the good wishes yesterday- we are very humbled by the level of support from you lovely folk. ????
