Jig saws

I love jigsaws as well. Like you, I get mine from charity shops and they get returned after completing them a couple of times. It is usually a winter occupation and it can get a bit addictive and a terrible time-eater!

It is always worth ensuring that it is made by a well known name - some of the cheaper ones are very badly made and the pieces bend and don't fit well.

I've always been lucky and not had any pieces missing. I think that is a lovely way to spend time together with your sister.

I so miss doing Jigsaw puzzles, did them for years but Arthritis
in hands made it too difficult to pick up and place pieces

My sister and i always see each other Saturday mornings for breakfast and a catch up. This week we started a jigsaw puzzle which we will do together every week. I have it set up on the dinning table on one of those special boards so if it needs to be removed it can be. I was surprised how much fun it was doing this together. We are hoping it will help the old grey matter and it gives us something to focus on whilst spending time together. I bought two from a charity shop so hoping they wont have missing pieces. Once done i will return back to the shop. There are some beautiful ones around and many evoke memories of days gone by so they become a talking point too.smile Anyone else doing puzzles??
