Simon Armitage, the poet. I heard him speak at the Bridport Literary Festival; he’s interesting, modest, humane.

In general I don’t like celebrities but I would love to be friend’s Jay Blade . I love to upcycle, reuse and live as sustainable as I can so I think he be great to hang about with . He also has the same music taste as me.

Ben Fogle. Because he is an adventurer and has a lovely way with animals. Nothing deters him, always ready to face whatever situation he finds himself in.

Pete burns fell off a ladder getting me a record from a string on the ceiling in Probe Liverpool circa 1981. He wasn't best pleased. I loved his look before he hit the fillers.
