Also I learnt that the little piggy didn't go to market to buy groceries...

That reminded me that somebody I worked with had a pet pig called Curlywee. She came into work one day to say he’d gone to market and because I sounded so shocked she said ‘oh only visiting’.

I believed that the head of the Roman Catholic Church was called The Poke, and he used the pastoral staff for poking.

I thought that people grew smaller as they aged because my elderly great aunt was a similar height to me!

There were fairies at the bottom of my garden and I was found under a gooseberry bush. I did not bring either into adulthood!

I though cats were the girls and dogs were the boys.

No I haven’t carried that into adulthood.

Can't really think of anything other than Santa. I felt lied to when I learned the truth.
Oh, maybe the tooth fairy?

That you brought into adulthood.

2 things I finally learnt the truth of:

I thought astronauts boots were really heavy to compensate for lower gravity untill I learned that's not how gravity works ie: if you drop a heavy ball and a light ball of the same siz they hit the ground at the same time.

I thought a "launch window" was a place in the atmosphere that was thinner and so safer to launch rockets through until I learned it is the time when the earth is in the right orbital position for the rocket to launch in the direction it wants to go.

Both into my 40s!

How about you?
