The film is based on the Oprah interview

I think that is what the film makers are saying, but I wonder why all the other stuff is needed then? It is scraping the barrel to make up nightmare scenarios.

OK NannyCl wobbling my head 180 degrees, if you were a film maker what would you include in your film about H & M without touching on any aspects of royal life, including royal relatives?

What more truth does Harry need surrounding his mother's death?

H & M are becoming more and more irrelevant.

It's horrible, but doesn't it just go to show that M & H are nobodies without their link back to the Royal Family? Harry has perpetuated the issues surrounding his mother's death and harassment by the press, and sees Meghan as history repeating itself, so it sort of seems natural that the film makers would pick up on this.
Distasteful definitely.

No it doesnt go to show that at all! As to Harry perpetuating the issues surrounding his Mothers death, maybe he would just like the truth!
I think you may have to give your head a wobble.

I always liked Harry and feel he is a troubled soul but his actions since meeting Meghan, fill me with despair.

What kind of mind dreams up something this distasteful?

Did Meghan and Harry have any say in the production?

As HM and Co probably didn't have any say in The Crown or any other films about the royals, perhaps H&M didn't know about the content of this.

How awful.

There’s lots of pics of the set. There is one horrible photo of Megan ( the actress playing her) hanging out of the car wreck.
I didn’t put it up as it’s really really offensive.

Pics of the set where?

Smileless2012 Sun 12-Sept-21 19:57:39

How do you know about this Smileless ?

Lucca Sun 12-Sept-21 18:40:56

Sounds dreadful. I agree. (Twice in one day ?!)

This film was released in America on September the 6th and includes a dream sequence.

The sequence is a re enactment of the car crash in which Diana died. A black Mercedes is on it's roof surrounded by the paparazzi and the woman dying inside is Meghan.

Distasteful doesn't begin to describe this.
