This film was released in America on September the 6th and includes a dream sequence.

The sequence is a re enactment of the car crash in which Diana died. A black Mercedes is on it's roof surrounded by the paparazzi and the woman dying inside is Meghan.

Distasteful doesn't begin to describe this.

If H's family is so toxic and dysfunctional poshpaws why are we hearing that H & M still want a private Christening for Lillibet at Westminster Abbey?

So basically if Harry responds to the film he'll be wrong, and if he doesn't he'll be....... oh yes, that's it.
Wrong!

Harry did have special privileges in Afghanistan, he had Gurkha bodyguards.

Harry had armed gurkhas has with him in Camp Bastion before he started flying in the Apache helicopters because the Taliban had marked him out as a target. I expect he would have had a go himself if anyone came for him. Trying to make out he was anything other than a brave soldier is pretty low, I think.

But I'm sure someone will come along and say that's not what anyone's saying and anyway he deserves all the criticism 'cos you know, Oprah and that ?

Fail to see the fascination the USA appears to have with the royals?! They couldn't wait to get rid of us in the war of independence, now they sound as if they wish they were all part of it again? Greener grass? Their attempts to make out they know how it all works is laughable. They need to butt out of our business.....

I know I'll be flamed for this, but hey - I've always stuck up for the underdog, why stop now - I amn't a Royalist, but I just don't get all this hate/contempt for Harry & Meghan. He's the one who fought in Afghanistan with no special privileges, who removed his wife and child from a toxic, dysfunctional family and situation and who's living without Royal (tax-payer's) money. What's not to like and admire? As to the distasteful film - almost all of our society seems to have lost all sense of common decency. We should all learn to use the "Off" switch a bit more often.

Why would William complain about a film which is about his
sister in law

I'm guessing because it might conjure up bad memories for Wills?
But then, he has learnt to deal with all the nonsense regarding his mum, unpleasant as it is.

Alegrias1 Mon 13-Sept-21 17:54:09

No, not really. confused

Smileless2012 Mon 13-Sept-21 17:51:08

Not that I'm aware of but as the film is supposedly about H&M and it's 'M' who dies because of the car crash in the dream being had by 'H' I'd have thought it more appropriate for H to complain, wouldn't you?

Alegrias1 Mon 13-Sept-21 17:28:51

Has William made a formal complaint?

Smileless2012 Mon 13-Sept-21 17:27:33

It will be interesting to see then Alegrias if Harry makes a formal complaint about a re enactment of the crash that killed his mother.

I've not seen anything as yet to suggest that he has.

Alegrias1 Mon 13-Sept-21 16:01:45

Right, just in case anybody was labouring under some kind of misapprehension - the creation and production of this film has got nothing to do with the dynamic duo, so it would be nice to stop blaming them for everything that happens.

Also, Anniebach has explained what a bag lady is for Granmarderby10, who I hope understands that this was a criticism of the film because HM in real life looks nothing like a bag lady. Mind you the actress playing Camilla is even less convincing.

Elvis58 Mon 13-Sept-21 15:57:35

The whole Harry/ Meghan scenario is a debacle.l just wish they would disappear.

Silvertwigs Mon 13-Sept-21 14:53:54

Maybe major share holders?

Anniebach Mon 13-Sept-21 14:21:03

A bag lady is a homeless woman who carries her possessions in
bag, yes ?

Callistemon Mon 13-Sept-21 14:20:19

Ooff, I just watched the trailer. Its looks awful. The Queen looks like a bag lady confused

Must watch, I've never seen HM with anything but a well polished Launer handbag on her arm!

Granmarderby10 Mon 13-Sept-21 14:15:55

Alegrias1 what exactly is a “bag lady” ?

Smileless2012 Mon 13-Sept-21 14:11:22

It's unlikely that they didn't know Mollygo. This is the final of a trilogy.

Mollygo Mon 13-Sept-21 14:08:56

Sick. For once I really hope H&M didn’t know, but I suspect they did.

Smileless2012 Mon 13-Sept-21 14:03:55

oops as low as this pair.

Smileless2012 Mon 13-Sept-21 14:02:56

If I were a film maker and wished to be respected as such, the last thing I'd do would be to have this 'dream sequence'.

If this has been done without H's knowledge and/or consent then maybe he'll sue. Neither him nor M are adverse to suing are they.

I think the majority of us would need breathing equipment to sink as law this pair.

Josianne Mon 13-Sept-21 13:10:22

grin Franbern.

katy1950 Mon 13-Sept-21 13:09:07

It's a disgrace

Franbern Mon 13-Sept-21 13:05:32

OK NannyCl wobbling my head 180 degrees, if you were a film maker what would you include in your film about H & M without touching on any aspects of royal life, including royal relatives?

What more truth does Harry need surrounding his mother's death?

H & M are becoming more and more irrelevant.

Personally I find the whole royal family thing totally irrelevant!!!
