Morning Mick and All.

It’s wet and miserable here in South Bucks.

Love your dolls Alizarin.

Glad you had good weather in Swanage NannyJ. It’s a lovely seaside town that we usually visit via the steam train from Corfe.

Off to visit our 97 year old friend who had a nasty accident 3 + weeks ago. They are hoping to move her to a rehabilitation place. She has a very sharp brain and we know she must be missing the stimulation of her normal life. She says she doesn’t want gifts just company.

Thinking of you grandMattie ?

Morning all. Piddling down here in Cheshire.
Haven't been to SwanageNannyjan It looks beautiful.
Love the dolls Alizarin I knit too but have never done anything like that.
Not much on today. Bit of food prep . The dolls have reminded me I need to accept a Macmillan coffee morning invitation that came yesterday.
Have the best day possible with a bit of ? in your life.

Good morning everyone from a very grey Northampton; heavy rain is forecast later, so I may not get to my afternoon health walk. I may take the opportunity to start a new cardigan, as I have finished my wrap/poncho thingy apart from making loops and sewing buttons on.

A good session at yoga yesterday then kept myself busy the rest of the day. Changed the bed and washed the sheets etc, then after lunch cut the front and back grass. Spent another hour cutting back an overgrown hornbeam. My neighbour popped round with plums from their tree. Sadly our plum tree died a few years ago, so it used to be me giving surplus plums to everyone! The pear tree hasn't obliged this year, but I do have apples on the espalier. I then managed an hour on my new book.

Not a lot planned for today; will just see how it goes.

Lovely dolls, Alizarin , and lovely pictures of Swanage NannyJan.

Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s light grey cloud but not actually raining yet. The suns trying to get through but I don’t think it will. Yesterday was a lovely sunny day and the workmen in the garden made really good progress.

Today I think I’ll pop into town for a look around the shops and a walk by the river.

Lovely photos nannyjan I hope you enjoyed your break away

Love the dolls Alizarin - clever lady!

Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, hope today is gentle and take care all whatever the day brings ?

Good morning Mick, morning all from rainy South Lanarkshire.

We looked after DGS yesterday afternoon so that his mum and dad could attend an appointment. I was then able to collect his sisters from the school bus and hear all their news which was lovely as it was the first time in an age that I’d been needed for the school pick up.

Little pooch is booked into see the groomer today, she (the groomer) is so good with the dog. She has her for over two and a half hours and takes the time to play a bit, cut a bit, play a bit so it’s not a stressful experience.

Not much else happening in baubles towers today.

Wishing everyone a peaceful day.

Good morning from a very rainy Black Country.

We arrived home from Swanage yesterday, where luckily we had a very sunny week! Now the washing begins.

Not been on for over a week as no wifi on caravan site unless you paid £5 a day! So I have probably missed a lot of your news, so will try to catch up later.

Welcome to any new members I have missed flowers

Wishing you all the best day

Good morning all and the forecast is wet.
I had encouraged dh to play 9 holes of golf today and after a lot of ‘Umming and Arring’ , he made a few phone calls and decided he would play. Now it’s going to rain and they probably won’t go. ?.

It’s my Bridge afternoon, so will enjoy that.

I love the knitted dolls Alizirin. Very sweet.

Cancelling LWW - Urms whatever next! ?. ?

Notagran - Swedish Death Clean? Sounds a bit drastic!

Mick enjoy your day trips/holiday planning. It’s exciting!

Have a pleasant day, all.

Good morning from a grey, damp Colchester.
Tuesday is charity shop volunteering day. It's a short walk so I hope the rain holds off.

Love to all x

Good morning Mick and all.
Not much doing today think its going to rain here in Hants. Going to asda getting ingredients for sticky toffee pudding for DH birthday on Friday. Wrapping his presents and writing his cards one from me and one from the cat, then I will be knitting this afternoon. Love being retired. Have a good day every one. Rosyflowers

Morning Mick, morning All. Our corner of Somerset looks damp, don’t think it’s raining now though.

Another quiet day ahead in corner-lane. Not too much energy available to me, I’m really fortunate as the Butler is coping well and settling into his duties smile. Just wish he’d worry less

There’s a grocery order to sort, a gift to order for a friends birthday and flowers to source for a wedding anniversary. Looks like a busy iPad day for me. As long as I can stay awake that is.

Take care everyone. Hope Tuesday is kind to us all. .

Good morning from an overcast south Cornwall. Getting a bus in an hour to see my hip surgeon to ask why one tendon isn't working as well as the other. Then I may continue the same bus journey to the north coast for a walk at Perranporth. Am knitting some dolls for a Macmillan coffee morning sale, almost finished, so will take my knitting on the bus. Have the best day you can.

Good Morning from a dreary and wet Severnside.
Welcome to cenedra.

Lazy me, I’ve decided not to go swimming this morning and get on with some pottering and such.
There is some stuff to think about how I arrange my next week. Some things are starting up and I am going to have grand dog to stay. I’ve not left him on his own before but I expect he’ll be alright if he sees me go out through the front door.

Take care all ?

NotAGran55 Tue 14-Sept-21 06:35:32

Good morning from West Berkshire where the rain is lashing down .

Football for me tonight but a day in beforehand as I start my Swedish Death Clean whilst listening to my audiobook.

Enjoy your planning Mick which can be as much fun as the actual events .

Wishing you all a peaceful day , especially those who are facing challenges.
