Good morning Mick and all who follow from the Black country. Lovely blue skies so the washing is on.
Thank you everyone for my Anniversary wishes yesterday, we had a lovely curry and it was nice to be with the family.
Trip to the bank and shopping to do today.
Take care all and may you all find some ?.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. The sun is up in South Yorkshire. I woke up at quarter to two and had a tremendous sneezing fit. I don’t usually get them in the middle of the night! DH slept through it but then was dreaming and singing in his sleep, so all in all not a good night! We have to go out today, and will call in on my niece as we will be passing her house. First, though, there is laundry….
Have a good day folks.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. The nights are getting longer and cooler but it's still reaching 20 degrees and dry during the day.
A day of this and that as is usual on a Thursday with Jay's online quiz with the family tonight.

Love to all ?x

Good morning from East Yorkshire. It is dry and bright with a decent day promised.

Ashcombe a good nights sleep makes so much difference doesn’t it?

Today I’m going to the hairdressers at lunchtime for a cut and colour. Then it is our day to collect dgs after school. He’d been telling his parents that when they did PE it was just walking around! Sounds like my kind of exercise ?. He has already had a party invite from a classmate. It will be good to meet outside school to play and have fun.
Wishing everyone a good day.
Take care.

Good morning everyone from a bright Northampton; I may even sort some washing out.

Had a good afternoon at our friendly Well-being cafe yesterday; I wore one of my home-knitted cardigans and received many compliments; with the result that one of the ladies asked me to make her one - my first commission! She wants the same colour as well and the same buttons!

A busy day ahead - I have the beds to make up for the DGDs who are coming to stay for three nights while their mum and dad have a weekend away. Then a bolognese sauce to make for tonight's dinner, one of their favourites; think I will put that in the slow cooker. Then a Sainsburys delivery with goodies for the DGDs (and me!).

Wishes to all for a good day.

Good morning from a Black Country with bright blue skies. It was very very warm yesterday afternoon.

Fairly busy today. I have to be at hairdressers for 9.30 am for highlights and cut. Last time I went was May, I decided I didn't need to go every 6 weeks like I used to. Then over to DD's to let the dog out for 30 mins or so. Then back home to meet up with friends for a walk and coffee in the park this afternoon. Phew!

Our flu jabs were booked for today, but they were cancelled a few days ago due to no delivery! It has now been booked for 12th October.

Wishing you all a pleasant day. I too miss our Marydoll and hope she is back posting soon

Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s dry and bright with some sunshine promised for later
Pleased you got your tv sorted mick so you can enjoy watching the sport
I’m off for a local walk today as we’ve still got the workmen in the garden so my gardening jobs are on hold. Then later this afternoon we’re probably watching DGS play football and taking DGD to the nearby park.
Your holiday sounds lovely GG13 it’s good to have a break away
Hope everyone finds something to enjoy today and take care all whatever the day brings ?

Good morning from misty West Berkshire.

A little bit of paperwork to do and then a trip out to the accountant with it, and a grocery shop on the way back .

I’m glad you got your TV sorted out Mick these things can be a pain to do.

I hope the day is kind to all who are in pain or suffering flowers

A quick good morning from a bright, breezy south Cornwall. Have the best day you can, everyone.

Good morning Mick and All.

A pleasant calm day here in South Bucks.

8 hours sleep Ashcombe that sounds wonderful. So pleased Olddudders is improving.

I’m glad you have your tv apps sorted Mick. I would be lost without my tennis channels.

A filling came out last night hopefully the dentist will be able to sort me out soon as I don’t want to look gappy for our 50th WA next month. ?

Thinking of grandMattie at this sad time ?

Missing Marydoll and her wonderful novellas.

dragonfly46 Thu 16-Sept-21 07:21:48

Good morning from a bright Leicestershire.

NWR lunch today at a local beauty spot. It is a new venture which I am organising. We will go once a month to one of the lovely places around with a walk afterwards.

When I had my MOT Harrigran they couldn’t get any blood out of me. After one go at the surgery and 2 at the hospital they gave up at my insistence.
Hope your DH is able to have his chemo next week. Have you tried Lifemel honey to improve his blood count?

Mattie ?

GrannyGravy13 Thu 16-Sept-21 07:16:39

Morning Mick and all

I can confirm that the sun is trying here in S E Essex

We are back from our travels in North Norfolk, my waistline has expanded as our hotel served a seven course taster menu each evening!! We re-visited Sandringham which was delightful, walked some of the Norfolk Coastal Path and just relaxed, it was a wonderful break!! Now the washing and ironing beckons.

Wishing you all a good day (I will now try and catch up with all your news over the last 5 days)

Keep safe and well folks ?‍♀️?

Good morning from a sunny Essex by the sea.
DD1 and her two eldest girls went to see the musical Six yesterday. They had a great time. I'm going in a few weeks with DD2 and her eldest daughter, looking forward to it.
No plans today, will probably take myself out for a walk.
Enjoy Thursday everyone xxx

Ashcombe Thu 16-Sept-21 07:00:45

Good morning, Mick and company from an overcast Sarthe.

Glad you have your much enjoyed Sport channel sorted out, Mick. A worrying shortage, harrigran but how lovely for you to have a break from being indoors.

We have enjoyed the longest night's sleep since I arrived - more than eight hours without having an early TIB, which was becoming our usual routine. olddudders is sleeping better now he can turn on his side without provoking pain spasms.

With thoughts for those who are burdened with pain of any
kind. ??? for grandMattie. ??✝️

cornergran Thu 16-Sept-21 06:57:37

Morning Mick, morning All. Light cloud over our corner of Somerset. Sunshine forecast later.

Spent most of yesterday afternoon and evening chatting on the phone. Today there is laundry to oversee then we’re venturing out to the sea front for a coffee and I hope a large piece of cake. It feels very adventurous.

Take care everyone. Hope Thursday is kind to us all.

Beechnut Thu 16-Sept-21 06:40:32

Good Morning everyone from Severnside. It’s dry and looking quite bright at sunrise.

My friends are visiting this morning. I haven’t seen them for ages so will have a catch up on things and there will be smiles.

Thinking of several people and hope you all have the best day you can ?

harrigran Thu 16-Sept-21 06:40:14

Good morning Mick, it is dry here in the NE.
Yesterday was a mild day with lots of sunshine.
I went to the GP's for my MOT which turned out to be a farce, she took my BP. No bloods are being taken because of a national shortage of blood bottles confused
My sister took me for a little drive along the coast, it was so nice to be out of the house.
DH will not be having blood test this week or chemotherapy, after his hospital admission.
Morrisons delivery this morning and I must get stuck into the laundry.
Have the best day you can.

Scentia Thu 16-Sept-21 06:33:21

Good Morning Mick and all who follow from here in East Staffordshire where it could be a wet day☔️
Off on Nanna duties soon, I will go bearing the gift of a cold and I must say it is worse than when I have Covid 3 weeks ago?
We are all off on holiday DH and DSiL are going tomorrow and DD and I plus the children will follow on Saturday, gives the boys a chance to get as drunk as they like on Friday before we arrive to spoil their fun??
Hope everyone is as well as can be and can find a smile, even just a little one today?

Michael12 Thu 16-Sept-21 06:04:24

Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark, but its dry outside this morning in brackley .
Today , my usual Bicester only bus trip , with coffee and snack at a bakery cafe and small shop after .
Yesterday became interesting finding I had lost Eurosport all together , I got onto BT and have changed my contract to Big Sport and Freeview channels , plus sorted out other issues with them .
Hopefully I can now watch my cycling on TV .
Take Care,
Mick
