Good Evening all my faithful wellwishers! I’m deeply touched by all the concern being expressed by GransNetters!
It will be 2 weeks on Monday since my discharge from hosp.; how time flies, but not too quickly I hope!!
Sorry if I’ve kept you in suspenders again, but earlier readers of the OZ News may recall I had to wait see my GP to discuss blood test results yesterday. and what a mixed bag they are!
The hospital C/T scan is still confirming Liver Cancer, not even “benign” which sounds nicer;
GP is sending me off to a cancer specialist at some stage and seeing that the hospital doc,
. and my GP are not oncologists I’ll pin my hopes on him/her,
I heard my GP mention, amongst the jargon “lancing” a small lump for path tests. Sounds delightful!
But Wait! there is some better news! Blood tests show my other function tests are OK; No diabetes or Covid, thankfully!
New cases are seemingly getting out of control in VIC and NSW despite continuing calls for easing of lockdown controls; in view of a planned demo this week-end similar to av recent very violent version recently by anti-vaxxers
Melbourne Metropolitan police have ordered a complete shut-down of the public transport system..
The fact that the weekend is forecast to be cold and wet might help cut the numbers, although I feel sorry for the police. I imagine all their horses won’t mind getting wet if it means avoiding idiot rioters!
I see Man.City was tired of scoring “fives” and moved up into the “sixers”
Nostalgia Corner; Rob Gell “Walking Britain’s lost Railways” again; this was all about Cornwall and its mines
Excellent!
Raining already!
Good Health
