Good Morning Monday 20th September 2021

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. The sun is out in South Yorkshire. It was pouring yesterday when we set off to watch GS play football but the sun came out and it was very warm. At one point DD looked at me and said “your hat is covered in tiny spiders!” Some of them were abseiling down from the brim!! Not much planned for today - ironing and a bit of housework.

Good morning Mick, morning all from sunny South Lanarkshire.

stilllearning we really must arrange that meet up one of these days.

We collected two of the DGDs from netball practice yesterday, the first time for us. The older one particularly enjoys sport, I’m not so sure about her sister, when she was very little she told her Mummy that she ‘really wasn’t an outdoors sort of girl’.

A long dog walk today I think as it’s such a lovely day.

Another beautiful day in Oxfordshire, DD2 came to lunch yesterday so the shed clearing will be done today, apart from that and walking her dog a clear day.

Morning from a lovely sunny S Lanarkshire. Heating has come on so it must have been cold during the night.

Horrible for your GC and family GG13, I really hope things gets sorted soon and properly, that is a real worry.

Book club this morning, another step into normality, let’s hope it lasts.

Then back on my travels for post school childcare. 8 year old granddaughter scored the only goal for her football team yesterday, she was so thrilled. She is not the most confident child so I am looking forward to congratulating her.

Good morning from the New Forest. We are booked to go on a boat trip later, but not a river cruise as my friend thought but in a Canadian Canoe. Hopefully we will all stay dry!

We’re back to our early start one day a week to look after our grandson,He has grown up so much over the summer and will be starting at the nursery class in school after half term.He is into pirates and digging for treasure at the moment so I have to get into the garden first and bury some coins!

GrannyGravy, I am so sorry to hear your grandchild is being so badly bullied.Many years ago our eldest daughter was bullied and the school did nothing.The threat of us going to the police and the local press sorted the problem and I hope it is the same for you,As grandmattie says these bullies have no idea of the damage they cause.I really hope that things are resolved soon.

Good morning everyone from Malaga where it’s the start of yet another glorious day of sunshine with a forecast of 29°C. We’re just enjoying our first cuppa of the day and said no gardens now, reading, let’s go out walking to ‘somewhere’. Sounds good to me as we’ve only 4 days left now for enjoying this lifestyle with no calls whatsoever on our time. It’s very restful.

Good morning from a bright Black Country.

Well, I have reached the grand age of 68! It only seems yesterday I was 60, so no idea where the last 8 years have gone.
We are going to a Spa Hotel in Buxton in a couple of weeks, as a celebration, today a lovely walk in the countryside, and MrJ is cooking me a steak dinner tonight. After a lovely meal at DD's yesterday, I am being spoilt.

GG13 that is so upsetting what is happening to you dear GC, I sincerely hope a stop can be put to it, so worrying for you all.

We are off to our cottage by the sea today - just for a week. I hope the weather will be kind. We will put the garden straight (again) and have some lovely autumnal walks.

Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s a bright and dry start. Yesterday afternoon turned out lovely, warm and sunny, this summer has been so good up here, we’ve been really lucky.
Today I’m off to the Aqua class at the gym and then lunch with my pal after the class. The gardeners here have more or less finished the path and seating area now so we’ll be tidying up a bit and doing the finishing touches.
My heart goes out to your DGC Gg13 I hope a very firm stop is put to the bullying soon.

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester. Rain yesterday evening and more in today's forecast. Still warm though, so no heating or coats needed yet.
I have a mammogram this afternoon and may take the opportunity to walk as we now live much nearer the hospital.
Hopefully our faulty kitchen window will be replaced today. The company keeps cancelling appointments for one reason or another, so I'll believe it when I see it.
