Good morning Mick, morning all from South Lanarkshire where it is wet and breezy.

Mick it’s great to be able to make plans for days out again.
Pleased to hear that your gout pain has lessened Mattie.
It has been a long haul for your DH Ash, glad to hear he is improving. Thinking of you and your DH Harrigran.

We have a day off childminding as DS & co are away on holiday. Little pooch is off to doggy day care as usual though so we have booked slots at the Huntarian Museum and Art Gallery. There’s a Joan Eardley exhibition which I’m looking forward to.

Wishing everyone a peaceful day

Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s grey windy and cool, hopefully not as wet as yesterday though.

I’m off to try a new class at the gym and then a bit of shopping in town, I need to look for ideas for DGS 8th birthday coming up soon so I’m going to browse the books in Waterstones first as he enjoys reading.

Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, hope today is gentle and take care all whatever the day brings ?

Good morning all from sunny Anglesey.
This little chap keeps knocking at our door, if he’s not careful there’ll be a line of breadcrumbs leading him straight to the oven.
Enjoy your day everyone

Good morning Mick and all from a clear S Hants. Where is your coach trip to Mick?.
Good news on the dishwasher grandMattie let’s hope the phone follows suit.
And more good news on oldudders. I like a good news ‘morning’. Hopefully some for you too Harrigran.
I have drivers for lifts to sort from yesterday’s voluntary work, too few drivers, lots of clients wanting lifts and I have two drives to do myself today. I’ve also got an itchy eye, fortunately a box of sterile wipes was found last night.
Have a pleasant day all ???

Good Morning everyone from Severnside. It’s dry and greyish with a big splash of orange. I think it will be a sunny day again.

I’m going to a coffee meet up later. Before that I’ll stick my head in the laundry basket and see if there is enough to make a load. Walk the dog and give him his breakfast.

It’s good to hear of better days for some of you ??

Morning Mick, morning All from a cloudy corner of Somerset. Rain forecast mid morning.

Carpenters worked hard yesterday, relieved and pleased to report we like the doors. It had been so long since the order was placed neither of us could accurately recall them. hmm. Wound needed some steristrips to support one small part, otherwise all as it should be, back next week for another check.

Doors will be finished today then we can deal with the dust. I’m steady enough for some dusting, the Butler will turn Cleaner and deal with the rest. Yes, I do know how lucky I am.

Take care everyone. Hope Thursday is kind to us all.

Morning Mick and all

It’s good to have something to look forward to Mick.

Sar53 enjoy your time with your GD’s and I hope you have a successful shopping trip ?

No closer to getting a starting date for the remedial work on the house, one detail yet to be decided.

Keep safe and well folks ?‍♀️?

Good morning from a very windy NE, it has been a noisy night.
Morrisons delivery this morning and DH has an appointment at the hospital to have his blood checked. The oncologist said he would not be having chemotherapy this week and there is a possibility that he may need a transfusion.
Bedroom and bathroom cleaning today while DH is out.
Look after yourselves.

Good morning everyone from a clear-skied Northampton; a fine day is forecast.

A Sainsbury's delivery this morning, then I hope to bus down to a near-by retail park to return some wrong-size clothes, and have a little browse.

Then this afternoon I shall cut the back grass using the new lawn-mower which arrived yesterday. I think I have mastered the instructions, and have charged the batteries, so, all set to go.......

A health walk this evening followed by dinner at the pub.

The gas man did a great job yesterday servicing the gas fire and boiler; he also ordered a new radiator for one which had been leaking and fixed a date to come and fit it. He also told me that my carbon monoxide alarm was out of date, so I have ordered two, for the sitting room and the utility room. Also while I was at it ordered a home fire extinguisher and fire blanket - just in case.....

Wishes to all for a good day.

Good morning everyone from a chilly Oxfordshire, let’s hope it warms up as it did yesterday, I’m on new pills so another wobbly start to the day, let’s hope they sort themselves out soon.
Hope everyone has a good day and love and hugs to those with worries and illness.

Good morning from Leamington where it is meant to be another lovely day.
Half an hour and the three girls will be up and the chivvying begins to get them all out the door by 8.30.
Once they are all at school I am going shopping in Leamington before collecting them, dinner and bed. I shall need a long rest after this.
They are all good girls and very good at doing what I ask.
Enjoy Thursday everyone xx

Good morning, all, from a chilly Sarthe (8deg!) but a forecast of 23 later. ☀️

Hope you enjoy your coach trip this weekend, Mick. A change of scene always lifts us.

Yesterday, I was pleased to be driven by DH, olddudders, for the first time in a month when I enjoyed viewing the scenery. He drove well, but was tired on arrival at home so the routine afternoon nap was welcome.

The photo shows one of our Lidl purchases which made us think of all you gramingo folk, especially grandMattie, whom I hope received relief from the gout yesterday.

Thank you for all the kind supportive messages yesterday regarding DH's improving state of health. Wishing you all a happy day. ?☀️???

grandMattie Thu 23-Sept-21 06:19:18

Oh, and the gout (?) seems to have settled by itself; it is a lot less painful.

grandMattie Thu 23-Sept-21 06:11:20

Good morning from E Kent. Not looked out except to see a beautiful moon in a clears sky.
We had a good day yesterday. With tears, I managed to see a nurse who took blood… no results until this afternoon… but, our dishwasher broke down a month ago, and stuff happened so we haven’t looked for a replacement until Tuesday. Delivery yesterday. DH called plumber who said he could remove and dispose of old one, plumb in new one and service the boiler on the same visit. When we called plumber, he said they had had a cancellation and could come yesterday, just after the delivery of new dishwasher!
A bit novella-ish, but only Marydoll can do those!
BT promised to look at non-working phone today. Hope they resolve it. It’s a real pain, as we don’t use mobiles - I’m too deaf to hear mine, DH has only recently got one and doesn’t want to learn to use it! Grrr ?
Hope today brings small joys to everyone (especially the new babies!). Carpe diem! ????????????

Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but its dry outside this morning in brackley , today for me usual bus trip to Bicester, late morning .
In general a quiet day as I await the weekend and another coach trip this Saturday .
It will be interesting to whether more people are starting to take trips out.
I had noticed the ones I use on there Facebook page , trips to the seaside seemed popular with many .
Take Care,
Mick
