...this conversation with Himself this morning was a bit unsettling.

HIM
'Can you help me for about 10 minutes in the garden' (mending a shed roof up a narrow side passage which would involve squeezing through shrubs).

ME (Busy ironing at the time, in clean and presentable clothes)
'Er, prefer to do it after lunch when I change my clothes'

HIM
'Alright'

An hour or two later after lunch...

ME
'So what's this job you need me for?'

HIM
'Done it thanks, don't need you'

ME
Oh, so how did you manage it without me?

HIM
'I used 4 bricks instead'

I'm still not entirely sure what the job was that the services of myself or 4 bricks are equally suited to...
