I’d love to have looked like Joan Collins in her younger days. Although at nearly 90
she still looks fantastic!

Apparently, I already do look like the actress Angela Pleasence, Donald Pleasence's daughter. Since most of her well known roles were in horror films, perhaps I wouldn't have chosen to look like her!

Emmy Lou Harris, she is looking fabulous with grey hair. When I eventually let the grey in, she will be my role model!

Keeley Hawes. I love her! Though the other day, my son paid me a rare compliment that I look lovely, so I'll take that. ☺️

Helena Bonham Carter if anyone. I’d love to have the confidence to go as whacky as she is. I feel whacky in my head but …..I’d probably just look like some crazy old bag woman

Francoise Hardy.

I'm with you on Francoise Hardy. I had quite a crush on her when I was young. Also, a young Marianne Faithful. She was so gorgeous.

I used to be told I looked like Julie Christie. I loved that! But at the time I wanted to look like Audrey Hepburn. I used to copy her eyebrows. Now I'd settle for the beautiful and glamourous Joanna Lumley.

When I was younger I was told I resembled Delia Smith sadly that's where it ended as I'm no cook . If I could look like anyone it would be Doris Day blonde glamorous and a twinkle in her eyes .

I've never wanted to look like anyone else, famous or not, but I do wish I had thicker, straighter hair

I used to long to look like Audrey Hepburn when I was younger. Now I'd be happy to look like Carey Mulligan.
She's so pretty.

I like looking like me. When younger, I was told by my mother that my older sister was “the pretty one” and that whilst I wasn’t pretty, there was “something attractive” about me. I’m nearly 60 now and as a thirty something started to look more like my dad’s side (up to that point I was the image of mum). I’ve grown into my looks and when I look in the mirror now, I see my dad’s smile. He was very good looking, in a Rock Hudson kind of way ?

I get told I look like Meryl Streep when she was younger and now, Kate Winslet so, I’ll take that! I still have great skin and hair. Not boasting, it’s genetic.

I also have a long body and short legs so hey! Can’t have everything ?

Charlotte Gainsbourg. Or Angela Basset.

I’d like Claudia Winklemans hair and Helena Bonham Carter’s wardrobe

When I was young, I looked like Amanda Barrie apparently.

Back in the 60s I wanted to look like Marianne Faithful. Or maybe Mary Hopkin.

Twopence Sun 17-Oct-21 11:03:34

Christine Lagarde. She always looks so stylish, which I'm not.

I think a lot of you are taking the piss. I used to want to look like Julie Christie but now at 80 I am finally happy with my looks and figure.
Weird

I would love to look like Christie Brinkley before she had surgery !!

Antonia Sun 17-Oct-21 10:55:49

The young Olivia Hussey definitely. (So pleased that I spotted the predictive text there that had changed Hussey to Gusset!)
Otherwise, a younger me with an added six inches and minus 2 stone.
Or Vivien Leigh, but without all her hangups.

As a teenager I hated being white and blonde, used to read a lot of books about Native Americans. Loved the idea of blue/ black hair.
Saw Buffy Sainte Marie in a concert in London in 2012. She was the age then that I am now, such a bundle of energy, stamina and a fantastic voice to go with it, wow, what more could I want.

Yasmin Le Bon - Grace Kelly and that dark haired girl from friends were/are beautiful.

SecondhandRose Sun 17-Oct-21 10:39:47

Cindy Crawford please!

knspol Sun 17-Oct-21 10:39:03

Just seen the labour MP Lisa Nandy on the TV, a natural beauty with seemingly no make up. The low maintenance, healthy, clear skin look would work for me.

Camelotclub Sun 17-Oct-21 10:35:15

Grace Kelly please!

As a 14 year old I adored Hayley Mills (she was four years older than me so I wanted to be like her). Later on I was told I looked like Sharon of Please Sir and more recently Kate Garraway (possibly) and Joanna Lumley (I can't see it myself). I'm quite happy looking like me but would prefer a few minor alterations!

Zoejory Fri 15-Oct-21 23:41:08

When young I was often told I looked like Jaclyn Smith from Charlie's Angels. I would have preferred to look like Farrah Fawcett Major. Totally wrong colouring for that though.

I don't really want to look like anyone famous now. However, Zendaya has to be the most beautiful woman on earth. In my opinion.
