Just a note to say my operation actually went ahead yesterday and now I'm at home feet up. The anaesthetist was brilliant after my concerns on how it went wrong last time, they put my favourite music on in theatre to calm me and when I go back in two weeks they said I may be able to have a boot instead of plaster but I will still be non weight bearing which is great because I will be able to have a bath properly 
. I'm coping really well considering my size, hope the knee and hip replacement Gransnetter's are doing well.
