If you could experience something for a day

I'm happy being a woman, but it'd be good just to see life from the male side. Of course, not an old duffer, like me. A youngish bloke.

I’d be a brilliant rider and gallop my horse through woods and along beaches: would jump hedges with no worry about falling off. Wouldn’t even be saddle sore at the end of the day. All I have ever done in the past is fall off….

Visit the space station. Not very environmentally friendly, l know but we’re only dreaming.

I’d be taller and have a bigger bottom and smaller breasts and be able to wear clothes that fit me, learn flamenco and avoid humourless inadequate and generally miserable men ??

I'm with travelsafar in wanting a day being young and fit again with no aches and pains. Although how awful when the day was over!

I would be an expert surfer and for that I would have to be young and fit for the day.

I'd like to be able to travel through time. I'd especially like to go back to one of the houses I've lived in and see what it was like there just after it was built in the 1730s - who was living there, what were they wearing and eating, how was it decorated, what everything smelled like.

As it's a very hypothetical question what I'd really like to be able to do, which is impossible, would be to time travel back to meet some of my ancestors and ask them "why did you do that? what happened then?, how did that come about " So many questions since I embarked on genealogy I'd like answers to. Of course I may well get a "don't be so impertinent, none of your business" answer given these people were of their time and far less candid than we are today

A bird, preferably a big one with talons to protect me. Wedge tail would do it and I could have a nice feed of frogs and rabbits.

I'd borrow TerriBull's time machine, and when I'd finished chatting to my ancestors as far back as I could go, I'd go for a look around Stonehenge when it was being used for whatever it was meant for, and if there was time I'd go to see a performance of King Lear at The Globe during its first run. I'm guessing that with the use of a time machine I could make the day stretch a bit longer than 24 hours .
