Grrr, that's the second time this morning that I've lost my post, so third time lucky!
It's a bright and windy Northampton morning, and looks set to stay dry for my rugby match this afternoon. I am off to see an international at our local Northampton Saints stadium - England women v New Zealand women, and looks to be a good match. It is on BBC 2, so look out for me somewhere in the crowd!
Thank you to whoever mentioned yesterday that the England/Tonga match was on Amazon Prime, so I was able to watch it while doing my knitting. Particularly enjoyed three of our Saints boys playing well, especially Hutchinson who scored a try on his England debut.
I had made three dozen sausage rolls yesterday before the match, to take to DD's for Christmas. Of course I had to try a couple in the name of quality control. Glad to say they passed the test! They are now in the freezer.
A late brunch this morning before I set off for the match, then an M&S chicken provencal when I get back.
Hoping Sunday is kind to us all.
I gave up driving two years ago. I am nearly 85.
even although it feels like ground hog day
I think my dh and I are going out in the car today to get a mid morning coffee at the driving range. It feels so good getting out and about.
the stewing steak we had yesterday was delicious with mashed potatoes and buttered cabbage followed by yogurt and tinned pears. Wonder what’s on the menu today? Possibly porridge for breakfast I’ve taught himself well [Smile]
I’ll say one for you
