Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark, and dry outside and maybe cold as well.
Yesterdays bus trip , due to cold air I went via Buckingham , but returned direct from Bicester home .
Today , a quiet day indoors with TV etc.
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from a still dark, but clear E Kent.
I’m going to help at Sunday School which has now opened, for the first time since lockdown in March 2920. Ni5 too sure how I’ll be.☹️
Roast chicken for dinner tonight - trouble with a roast is that we carryon having i5 for the next 4-5 days. Gets a little boring and tests my imagination somewhat!
Hope that today brings some ☀️ into your lives, together with th3 odd ?flamingo or even a flamboyance! Carpe diem ????

Pantglas2 Sun 07-Nov-21 06:18:31

Good morning Mick - good to see you still posting bright and early each morning ?

I’ve been up since sparrowfart , emptied the dishwasher and am enjoying the chamberpot ☕️ in a dry dark and peaceful north Wales although I can just about hear traffic along the A55 - wind must be northerly this morning. Polly will be along shortly with my lovely weather, wot I ordered yesterday ? !

Nothing planned today but will read all your mischiefs and Miss Marydolls husband’s misdeeds will make me laugh out loud - she has an unerring knack of hitting the funny bone ?

A peaceful Sunday for all x

Good morning from a still dark and very silent Essex by the sea.
We both had our flu jabs yesterday and I didn't sleep too well, a bit achy and a headache.
We are off to the rugby club this morning for a big competition. They are expecting over 700 players so need to get there early to find somewhere to park.
Have a lovely Sunday whatever you get up to xx

Kim19 Sun 07-Nov-21 06:50:33

Morning Mick, those already signed in and those who follow! Hope you all find a high spot in your day. I'm still revelling in my current trip to IoW and staying with wonderful friends of longstanding. Life is doubly good for me at the moment. Social high spot promises to be afternoon tea in a local hotel. Bring it on!

Good Morning everyone from Severnside. It’s dry and cold.
Nice to see you back Pant.
Hope you are feeling better after your fall Harris. Mine shook me up for a couple of days so I was very careful in the garden yesterday.
Whatever my father in law had on a Sunday Mattie he made it last nearly all week. I was only thinking last night about his food when I had a few chocolate digestives. That’s all he ever bought in the biscuit/cake line. He’d grin from ear to ear to pick up a pigs head for 10p to make brawn.

I’d better get on with the clothes sort today as Beechnutella said she might swing by on her way home from their wandering in Wales weekend.

Take care all and enjoy your roasts ????

Good morning from Torbay where it's bright and will be sunny when it has risen!

It is good to read some upbeat posts today, especially from Kim19 who is having a great time, which is lovely to hear. Good luck with Sunday School, grandMattie and I hope you’ll feel better as the day goes on, Sar53. I’m playing the piano today for our 9.30 service.

A blessed Sunday to you all! ?????

Good morning all from a brightening North Leicestershire.

Neighbours drinks here this morning. It's not very warm so I am not looking forward to opening all the windows.

Something I made earlier for lunch - so I'd better get something out.

Have a good day all.

Morning Mick, morning All. It’s a chilly start to our corner of Somerset, looks wet out there.

Our overnight lodgers disappeared at lunch time yesterday. We enjoyed their company and conversation, a very relaxed stay. Their Mum came with her partner to pick them up. First time we’ve met, good to put a face to the name. An hour in town in the afternoon with a cuppa and very good cake. No real plans for today, see how it goes. Beef slow cooked in beer for our meal later with whatever veg is found lurking in the fridge

Take care everyone. Hope Sunday is kind to us all.

Good morning from the Scottish Borders. A beautiful sunrise here but the gales have subsided. I have a df staying and a busy day planned. I hope everyone has a nice day in store.

Gwenisgreat1 Sun 07-Nov-21 07:25:55

Good morning all from dark, dry Harrogate
Yesterday the steroids certainly got me my mojo back. I baked the large Xmas cake, a lemon meringue pie, made some scotch pancakes then brewed some Kombucha tea in the evening. This was after taking the dog to the vet in the morning. Poor little thing has hurt her leg and is terrified of all the fireworks that have been going off Willy nilly around us. They were going off until about 11 pm last night.
Today, if my breathing has improved I shall go to church, then it’s off to DD1 for lunch. Not sure how many she is entertaining today. Whether I shall have 2 Gc to entertain or just one. Glad you had an easier day yesterday marydoll hope today is easy as well sound interesting getting loads of opened groceries. Put your imagination to the test using them up?
Waste not want not always the mantra!
Hope you enjoy the rugby Sar53
Have as good a day as you can folks

Gingster Sun 07-Nov-21 07:26:58

Good morning all from a dark Essex. No rain or wind here.
I’ve been awake since 5. We had our Boosters yesterday and although no repercussions, I didn’t sleep well. Probably a coincidence ?.

It was so well organised and efficient. Afterwards we had breakfast in a nice coffee/tearoom - oldie worldie! . Very civilised. We had intended to have a Costa coffee but it was so busy with a long queue. - at 9.15 in the morning ?

We had an impromptu visit from DD and youngest gd. We hadnet seen them for a while for one reason or another, so it was really nice. DD had to have her stitches taken out from an op to have a double mole removed. There’s a huge scar, so hopefully it was all taken out. She hasn’t had the biopsy result yet ?. Little gd stayed with me and we had fun, baking , colouring, and reading. In the month I haven’t seen her, she has improved so much with her reading and writing. It always amazes me how these brilliant teachers get these little children to read and write so quickly.

Today we will visit my DB and his wife for coffee and cake, then home to gammon (in the slow cooker right now) for a late dinner. .

GranMattie I hope Sunday school goes well for you. ?

Sar enjoy the Rugby Club. ?

Enjoy your sundays everyone. ????

Grandmajean Sun 07-Nov-21 07:35:26

Very still and calm in Cheshire this morning.
Not much planned today . Some family members went to an organised fireworks display last night while the younger GC just had one at home.
Not many posters yet this morning.
Have a good day everyone.

Wishing every one a good day.

Jaxjacky Sun 07-Nov-21 07:49:48

Good morning all from a dry, high cloud, S Hants, waving to you Kim19 on a clear day we can see the IoW from the hill behind us.
Enjoy Sunday school gM, brings back memories for me.
Washing machine will be going later and DD will be calling in on her way to pick GC’s from my son’s who had them last night.
Not much else planned, back to work for MrJ tomorrow.
Enjoy your Sunday all with some ???.

Nannytopsy Sun 07-Nov-21 07:51:04

Good morning Mick and all his followers! Looks like we shall have some sunshine and light cloud in Suffolk and a bit of a breeze.
Church this morning and then a frantic morning to finish getting ready for friends arriving after lunch. DS will call in, with DGC, as his godfather is the friend.
Yesterday turned out to be a pretty busy day, with an unexpected bonfire and firework display then BBQ back at DS’s.
Sorry to dash off.
I hope the day is kind to everyone.

brook2704 Sun 07-Nov-21 07:53:12

Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s cloudy, windy and dry. Thank goodness it seems a bit calmer than yesterday which was very wild, windy and wet!
Sounds like it was a busy day yesterday gwenisgreat but productive with all that baking - well done
I’m having a day at home today as I seem to have accumulated a lot of sorting out type jobs to do and clearing leaves from the garden if it stays dry. DD2 is having an old sideboard that I don’t need any more so I’ve got to empty it and decide what I’m keeping.
Hope all’s ok with your DD biopsy results Gingster?
Hoping everyone finds something to enjoy today and take care all whatever the day brings ?

Gingster Sun 07-Nov-21 07:56:57

Thank you brook ❤️

ginny Sun 07-Nov-21 08:02:08

Good morning everyone. A little bit of sunshine peeping through but it is chilly.
A few bits and pieces to clear up this morning then we are off to DD2 for that stew and ‘droppings’.
Wishing all a pleasant day with some smiles along the way.

Susan56 Sun 07-Nov-21 08:04:00

Good morning from Shropshire.

Sounds like a busy day ahead for lots of you.

I had hoped to be #lazy gran today but DH has other ideas. We have bought some new coat hooks for the utility room and he has decided we should paint the room before we put them up?am hoping it will be him not both of us doing the painting and I can carry on with my book.

Have the best day you can all??

Greyduster Sun 07-Nov-21 08:08:47

Good morning, Michael and all GNs from a brightening South Yorkshire. Chilly though! GS is playing football this morning over this side of the city and then he and his ma and pa are coming in on the way home for a curry lunch. I made the curries yesterday so just have to finish off the veggie one that DD will have and we are good to go. Apart from that, nothing much on the agenda today. Lazy Sunday!
Have a good day, one and all. Hope the weather is kind to you.

Oopsadaisy1 Sun 07-Nov-21 08:09:23

Good morning Mick and all who follow, Dull and breezy here in Oxfordshire.
Nothing planned today, MrOops had his flu jab and wasn’t feeling to good at bedtime and I had my Booster last night, just a sore arm though so far for me.
MissOops will bring her dog over tonight for us to look after on Monday, so we are slowly getting back to normal after all of our health problems.
Gwen steroids are the best! You forget that you cant breathe! Not so good when you come off though, the dreaded Steroid droop.
Have a good day everyone and a hug for those who aren’t so chipper today.

Pittcity Sun 07-Nov-21 08:18:00

Good morning from a bright, dry Colchester.
A quiet Sunday here. I need to pop out for bread and may make it part of a longer walk.
Roast beef tonight. Grandmattie, we always manage to finish a small joint in sandwiches, curry or stir-fry etc by Tuesday. Sometimes I freeze cooked meat in slices to warm up another week along with the frozen Yorkshires that we make in a big batch.
Love to all x

Good morning everyone the sunshine is blazing through the blackout curtains this morning here on the east coast of Fife. Thankfully only 3 pit stops last night. I’m nice and refreshed this morning after feeling so very tired yesterday. Every day is a bonus wink even although it feels like ground hog day sad I think my dh and I are going out in the car today to get a mid morning coffee at the driving range. It feels so good getting out and about. smile the stewing steak we had yesterday was delicious with mashed potatoes and buttered cabbage followed by yogurt and tinned pears. Wonder what’s on the menu today? Possibly porridge for breakfast I’ve taught himself well [Smile]

Have a good Sunday all ye who are in despair flowers I’ll say one for you smile
