Hoping no-one else has done this.
We need to get things organised for soop's return.
Good evening dear kitcheners - little for me to say today other than hugs all around ?
What brook and Susan say exactly, soop.
We care for you and want you to get your life back. ?
soop, exactly what brook says.
Sending strength and love your way???
Oh soop I wish I could make things better for you. Please progress the crowd funding option if you can, you really can’t carry on this way and definitely shouldn’t have to put up with life as you describe it.
Sending hugs ❤️
Please don’t feel guilty about not being able to catch up with us all in the kitchen - we’re doing fine and continuing to support each other
Once again, another day of doing whatever we can to move forward one staggering step at a time.
I phoned PASS. The NHS cannot step in to help with the cost of private surgery. Going back on the NHS waiting list will involve yet more visits to hospitals and further procedures, of which I've had more than I can count.
It's true to say that I'm between a rock and a hard place. The prolapse now prevents the passage of stools. I am taking three sachets of stuff to help things along. Result is that I have the "trots". We have been looking at purchasing incontinence pads. I shall also speak to the GP tomorrow to see whether I can get them on the NHS. At present I'm using sanitary towels (NHS issue) which do not do the job and I'm nervous about going out and being "caught short".
What a catalogue of buggerations! I feel the need to share with you lovely lot but feel extremely guilty for not keeping up with all the activity in the kitchen.
This too shall pass...
Sweetie Pie has been hanging around since early morning. She had had several feasts and is resting her eyes as she lolls on the utility room door mat. She brings a smile to our faces. That's a bonus.
Goodnight for now. Continue to support each other. It's what we do best.

Thank you for condolences ladies.
Blossoming I’m glad your new painkillers are working.
soop hope you get a good sleep tonight.
Hope you get a good nights sleep SueDonim and you’re feeling much better tomorrow
A quick note today from me. My body seems to be a battle ground for competing Covid and flu antibodies today, after my jags yesterday. I woke in the night freezing cold, then boiling hot. I’ve been ‘limp and languid’ today, not ill as such, although I have a headache. Hopefully things will be back to normal tomorrow!
A peaceful evening to you all. Xxx
‘Evening All’.
A delightful lunch with my stepfather today. We all enjoyed a steak - one rare (Himself) one medium (stepfather) and mine towards well done. Made me think of the 3 bears in the Goldilocks story. Good news is, this hacking cough hasn’t affected my appetite.
Once home I’ve binge watched ‘The Crown’ again. I’m halfway through Series 4 now so perhaps a little light dusting tomorrow. Or perhaps not.

Good evening lovely Kitcheners. The new painkillers have worked really well, I managed a really good sleep last night and have dozed most of today. As you rightly guessed Jax it’s a relief to have a diagnosis. I can and will get past this latest bump in the road! Thinking of all of you with family troubles and health worries. Hope GrannySomerset has been able to rest a little, such an unsettling time but it will improve. TOYA
Evening all, without Urms Dixon.
A busy day on the voluntary phone.
Your updates are not boring soop, maybe one of your local GN friends could help with the ins and outs of crowdfunding, I’ve contributed to some, but I’m not familiar with the IT side of how it works, ?.
Hope all poorly people are feeling a bit better and you all have a gentle evening x
Congratulations nannyfaraway on the safe arrival of your grandson Rupert .
We have worked tirelessly compiling the list of procedures for the rectal prolapse performed at different hospitals since 2011. I feel boss-eyed with the concentration required.
So far, we haven't had time to investigate the 'Crowd Funding' information. That will be a job for tomorrow.
Thank you all yet again for your kind support and manner in which you put up with my boring updates.
Time to log off and rest my eyes.
Until tomorrow, please continue to take the best possible care of yourselves. You are very important peoples.

? sending condolences Jax - a sad time indeed for your family. Nannyfaraway congratulations on your happy news ?. My little grandson who was born in August is also called Rupert - love the name ?. Mr BA has been out delivering a training session today - one of his last I would think. He's counting down now to the 30th of this month - and retirement!! Scampi and new potatoes with salad will be served when he returns ?. Sending a gentle hug to soop before I say enjoy the rest if Wednesday

Welcome Rupert. What a lovely name.
Blossoming hope you feel better soon.
Jax my deepest sympathy to you. Condolences to maddyone too. However expected a death, the pain of grief is not tempered.
A hanging around day for me and I am ashamed to say rather a bad tempered one. Awful to get fed up when so much is going on for others. Am pulling myself out of my self centred pit...Working tomorrow. Need to be calm. My best wishes to all. Keep safe.
Welcome to Rupert Such lovely, happy news from Nannyfaraway

Today we are looking into Crowd Funding. You lovely lot possibly know more about it than we do right now. It's a positive step. Thank you for suggesting it. I shall report back (and share a
and
with you later today.
Sad news Jax and Maddyoneas even when expected such news does shock and def gives a pause to the rhythms of family life when one member is suddenly no longer there.
Sending soop &MacS. And Panache And Annesixty

Had great ‘fun’ today trying to keep DD’s kitten from repeating her disappearing trick under the floors. Big panic as you can imagine but floors should all be relaid and sealed by tomorrow night, all being well, so with vigilance there should be no repeats.
Taking Himself to the Prosthetics Hospital myself tomorrow as DD can’t drive atm so hope the weather will be fine. Hope it fits this time as it was weirdly wrong last time much to his disappointment.
Sleep well everyone
Jaxjacky sorry I missed the GM thread. Sorry to hear about your FIL. Condolences to all the family ?
