Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but a dry day outside at the moment in Brackley .
Yesterday I did a bit of a mix as to buses , I went to Buckingham, got bus to Bicester , returned to Buckingham had something to eat and browsed flea market , and decided to return to Bicester to the bus back to Brackley .
Today , apart TV , I will prepare myself a chicken dinner enough for 2 days on my own .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from a grey, but dry and mild Colchester.
Much scurrying about upstairs as DH and DS dress for the town Remembrance Parade. As this is a garrison town it's a big thing but my men always leave preparation for the last minute.
DS is a serving sailor but his uniform has just been taken out of the bag creased. DH is a volunteer with the air cadets and he is trying to pin a poppy and his medals on a great coat...he'll be sweltering.
I'm enjoying a cuppa as I'm dressed and ready to go!
After lunch we'll be packing up the bathroom ready for work to start tomorrow and packing our bags for a fortnight away.

Looking forward to roast chicken cooked by DH tonight.

Happy birthday Nannagarra ?? and much love to all x

Good morning everyone from a beautifully sunny and mild south Manchester. Just gorgeous.

Today would have been my mum’s birthday. Our youngest daughter suggested we all eat together today, including grandpa. I know he’s looking forward to seeing the children. Himself cooked a huge pan of chilli in readiness yesterday , so no cooking for me or our daughter today. Good man.

Happy birthday Nannagarry ??? and commiserations to Marydoll hope you feel better soon it’s a horrid condition.

Made me laugh reading through how many double bubbles there were this morning!

Good morning from a grey, damp and misty NE.
DS and family visited yesterday afternoon after viewing more houses and GDs were tired and cold when they arrived.
I have the house to myself today so will catch up on some TV and try and relax.
Happy Birthday Nannagarra.
Caring thoughts for those who are unwell or sad.

Good morning all from a dull S Hants. Happy Birthday Nannagarra ??? enjoy your day.
We both had a lazy day yesterday and no great plans today. The priest shared communion with FIL yesterday in hospital, it will have comforted him.
Thoughts with those poorly, struggling or just sad today, hopefully a ? or ?? will brighten your day.

Good morning everyone the sun sunshineis shining here on the east coast of Fife and it brings good cheer smile. What’s on the menu today I wonder I skipped lunch yesterday and didn’t enjoy my tea all that much however at supper time because I felt hungry I gobbled down 2 chocolate biscuits with a cup of tea. They were soooo good. Can’t wait to get my Sainsbury’s delivery tomorrow I’m planning to make honey mustard chicken thighs in the slow cooker. grin

Have a good and restful Sunday flowers

Good morning from N. Bucks where it is dull but mild.
Late night after babysitting so a bit late getting going this morning. The boys were very good and how I enjoyed giving that sleepy bedtime bottle to little Charlie.
Final swap over of bedrooms today. Clear out the airing cupboard and plenty of craft work to get on with.
Wishing all some smiles in your day especially those who are poorly or troubled.

Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s grey and cloudy but dry.
Happy Birthday to nannagarra enjoy your special day ! ????
We had a lovely but busy day yesterday, we spent the morning with DD2 and the DGC and then after lunch DH and I had a coffee out and did a bit of Christmas shopping.
I too enjoyed watching Strictly last night stilllearning and agree it was so very moving when the sound was silenced
I’ve nothing planned for today except I’ll probably spend some time in the garden continuing with the tidying up of the leaves. It looks like they’re mostly all down now so that jobs almost over thank goodness
Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, hope today is gentle and take care all whatever the day brings ?

Morning Mick, morning All from a bright, chilly corner of Somerset.

A sorting day yesterday, why on earth did we need to take so much with us for five days? I fell asleep watching Strictly then of course took ages to sleep once I made it to bed.

Wishing you a happy day nannagarra, enjoy your birthday meal.

Thinking of all finding life a struggle just now. Hope Sunday is gentle with us all.

Morning from the edge of S Lanarkshire where I’ve been having another overnight with DD4 who has already left for work while I am still cosily tucked up. DSiL will attend to breakfast later!
We watched Strictly together last night and were quite overwhelmed when the music was silenced in the middle of Rose’s dance and it was brought home to us just how amazing she is as well as giving a flash of insight into the world of deafness. Very moving.

Home later this morning to prepare for the book club tomorrow morning. Someone (not me!) had the bright idea that we should start taking turns at leading the discussion and my name came out the hat to be first Fortunately everyone in the group are lovely so it should be okay ?

Hoping everyone’s day is as good as possible ???

Good morning from Shropshire.

Had an unexpectedly lovely day yesterday.A day with my mum can be difficult but she really enjoyed yesterday. We went for an Italian meal for lunch then took DGD to choose some new clothes. The fitting rooms were open so she tried everything on, good job as the things we bought were in four different sizes?‍♀️She loved trying things on and then going out to show great grandma?

Today we will take her to her swimming lesson then we have the afternoon off!

Nana Garra, happy birthday, hope you have a lovely day???

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Grey and chilly today in South Yorkshire. We went to watch GS run with his team in the English Schools Cross Country Championships semi final yesterday afternoon. They put up a very good performance but their overall placing was fifth so they will not be going to the final in Cornwall next month, but a junior team from their school will be, so that is good news. DS and DiL and one of their boys will be coming to lunch today so I had better get a move on. Another cup of coffee first though!
Have a good day folks.

Good morning all from central Herts where the weather is dull and dry, am not planning any outing today as need to pack our bags for a short break to Dublin tomorrow. We plan to meet up with some family while there, it's been two years since our last meeting.
Due to Covid there is some extra paperwork as in having printouts of vaccine status as well as passenger location forms. We're hoping it will go fairly smoothly, without too much hassle.
Haven't read all the posts yet but I noticed it's Nannagarra's birthday, wishing you a happy day.
Hope all of you have a pleasant, restful Sunday.

Good morning all from dreary Harrogate
Yesterday I did go to the Xmas fair in a neighbouring church. There was so much effort put into it and not many takers. I did get some Knick knacks for the DGC. for next month.
Today hope to make it to church and in the afternoon my friend is popping round for a blether
Hope everyone has the best day possible

Marydoll Sun 14-Nov-21 07:37:45

Good morning all, a short post today from me lucky escape for you all,

I had an unexpected attack of labyrinthitis yesterday, which literally took the feet from me.
Fortunately, I still had some medication from previous ones.
I am wobbly today, but hopefully the worst is over.

Nanagarra, have a lovely day and sending my best wishes to Jax and family.

Good morning all and yes, it’s dull here again in Essex. November is a dreary month! I’m looking forward to Christmas lights going up , making the world seem cheery. I won’t do ours until December but I love to see other houses gradually lighting up. We need a bit of ✨ ✨ sparkle.

Yesterday I had a lovely surprise. Eldest GD facetimed me and I asked her where she was and she spun the camera round and she was outside my house. Home from Uni for the weekend to surprise everyone. ❤️. Today she’s coming for a roast dinner and all the family will be round to hug and squeeze her. Not sure how many will stay for lunch but they’ll be plenty ?.

Consequently I didn’t get much housework done yesterday. I’d cleaned the windows and dusted and hoovered but didn’t get down to the nitty gritty - drawers and cupboards cleared and cleaned, furniture moved , getting rid of STUFF! Etc.
Another day !

Here’s hoping all your days are filled with something you enjoy.
?✨??

Good morning Mick, morning all from still dark South Lanarkshire.

Yesterday was such a beautiful, mild day, it was a pleasure to be outside with the daft dog.

I got started on my Christmas shopping too at the local maker’s market. Every year I give a little Christmas decoration to DD and DS, yesterday I bought a couple of gorgeous hand made glass tree ornaments from one of the stalls for them. I wish I’d got one for myself now as they are really pretty and will catch the light beautifully.

We will go to the remembrance service at the war memorial this morning which means me going to the earlier Mass. My hair needs washing so I’d better get a move on.

Wishing everyone a peaceful Sunday especially those with troubles ??

Grandmajean Sun 14-Nov-21 07:19:42

Had a busy day yesterday with unexpected child care so hoping for a quieter day today.
Hope the day brings some sunshine ??
