I've just watched Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga for the third time, and i have to confess that Dan Stevens makes me go weak at the knees ( usually it's low blood sugar ).
I thought he was beyond brilliant in Downton of course, gorgeous in The Guest, loved him in Blithe Spirit, but the sight of him cavorting round to The Lion of Love almost gives me a heart attack !
How can anyone look so tasty ?
I'm also heartbroken because it doesn't appear to be out yet on DVD and i wanted to buy it for myself as a Christmas treat !
Who do you lust over ?

Used to really like David Cassidy back in the day too...i met him years later after his 'come back tour' in the hotel, we chatted a few minutes & he let me have a quick peck as we shook hands.Such a lovely sweet man.?

Sean Connery always did it for me, especially in a Kilt, plus that sexy voice

Recently though it’s Claes Bang; the Danish actor who played Dracula in a recent BBC1 series. He is absolutely gorgeous ❤️

Denzel Washington
Anthony Hopkins
Andy Garcia.

Tom Hiddleston, especially when he lets his hair grow a bit. It’s all curly. I used to lust over George Michael, even though I knew he was gay. I remember a group of us (all women) having a very raucous conversation about him during a pottery class.

Nannan2 Wed 17-Nov-21 12:12:32

Dabi- ??- Nah!

My hubby. He's my toy boy at 10 years younger than me. Been together for 13 years now and still fancy the pants off him

Nannan2 Wed 17-Nov-21 12:18:50

Ignore Theoddbird- obviously a joy killer....and seemingly past it....?

Anyone watch the TV Series Keeping Faith? Mark Lewis Jones won my heart. I follow (not stalk!) him on social media and he seems really quite lovely.

I think that to lust after your husband would be a bit odd
(Even odder than lusting over, lovely as he is, Graham Norton)
Also, I think that there’s quite a difference between lusting and fancying
I’m definitely a fancier

Jason Momoa - reminds me of the kind of men I went out waaaaay back in the day, Its not even muscles, its his smile , his hair, and his absolute devotion to his lovely wife, that I find appealing . Aahhhhhhh-swoon x

Cillian Murphy is very easy on the eye. I also used to lust over that French actor who played Robinson crusoe on that old black and white tv series. But i was probably about 10.

GreyKnitter Wed 17-Nov-21 12:27:50

Patrick Swayze used to do it for me, but I think James Norton is his replacement! Mmmm

Awesomegranny Wed 17-Nov-21 12:31:30

Nigel Havers
Clint Eastwood in his early days
Daniel Craig

albertina Wed 17-Nov-21 12:36:23

Cary Grant .....always.

Silverlady333 Wed 17-Nov-21 12:38:12

OMG where do I start!
1st Charlie Hunman when he played 'Jax' in 'Son's of Anarchy'.
2nd Henry Cavil when he played Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher (he also played Superman in the 'Man of Steel' (also has been muted to be the next James Bond).
3rd Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Terminator movies.
4th David Draiman from the Heavy metal band Disturbed. (you should hear his voice in their version of 'Sounds of Silence'. Even Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel think it is a better version
5th Rutger Hauer In his earlier years.
6th Christopher Eccleston From Dr Who in his leather jacket.
I better stop now lol

I'm quite taken with James McAvoy who always has that 'twinkle' in his eyes!
Cillian Murphy too is a rather stunning looking man as is Mads Mikkelsen.

When I was younger it was Sidney Poitier, I thought he was stunning!

Grandmagrim

Tom Hardy, stellan skarsgard and all his sons ?

Stellan Skarsgard and his sons are all very attractive I agree but for me nobody will ever beat Gregory Peck - in Roman Holiday, To Kill A Mocking Bird and The Big Country he was drop-dead gorgeous. Judith Keppel from EggHeads says she sat next to him at dinner once, lucky lady. My sister-in-law is mad for Colin Firth, she used to live on Vancouver Island where his ex wife lived and she went in a book shop once to be told she had just missed him - she never got over the disappointment.

OldScallop Wed 17-Nov-21 12:41:31

Hmm... Henry Cavill (Witcher) and James Norton. Either or both.

netflixfan Wed 17-Nov-21 12:42:05

Tom Hardy. Gorgeous! Im hoping he will be the next James Bond. Also, Monty Don. I would leave Mr. N for him.

There was a programme about his life on BBC4, and he experienced a lot of sadness. ☹️

Silverlady333 Wed 17-Nov-21 12:45:56

Reading through this tread I would also like to second
Rege Jean Page in Bridgerton
and Jason Momoa

NanaPorsche Wed 17-Nov-21 12:50:29

Phwoar - Kurt Russel, I'd love to find him in my Christmas stocking.

I've always I could give Sean Bean a run for his money - love his accent.

Used to watch casualty when Clive Mantle was in it - we could play doctors and nurses and he could look at my rash ?
