I've just watched Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga for the third time, and i have to confess that Dan Stevens makes me go weak at the knees ( usually it's low blood sugar ).
I thought he was beyond brilliant in Downton of course, gorgeous in The Guest, loved him in Blithe Spirit, but the sight of him cavorting round to The Lion of Love almost gives me a heart attack !
How can anyone look so tasty ?
I'm also heartbroken because it doesn't appear to be out yet on DVD and i wanted to buy it for myself as a Christmas treat !
Who do you lust over ?

Patrick Grant from Great British Sewing Bee - absolutely drool whenever he's on TV, he's got everything going for him and hasn't ruled out dating a fan.....!

A customer that used to come in to my place of work!

Colin Firth ever since Pride and Prejudice and fairly recently Matthew Goode. Not when he plays upper crust English gentlemen but particularly in Leap Year where he plays a rather scruffy, slightly uncouth Irish man.

Cillian Murphy for me too. I’ve only ever seen him in Peaky Blinders so I think it’s Tommy Shelby that I warm too. Such a damaged character. And I like a bad boy.

To anyone who says Regé-Jean Page I’m afraid I already bagged him on another thread. So hands off ?

Bill Nighy, Patrick Stewart & Michael Dorn.
They're all gorgeous and they've all got a voice that makes me go weak at the knees.

Oh phooey, that link doesn't work. You'll have to Google him.

Andrew McFarlane (Australian actor) loved him in The Flying Doctors. Still dishy imo.

My teenage crush was John Nettles when he was in The Liver Birds. He's aged well, and is still quite a hunk.

Rufus Sewell
Aidan Turner
And lately, Bertie Carvel as Dalgliesh.

Prince Albert as in ‘Victoria’! I can see why she had 9 children! grin

NanKate Tue 16-Nov-21 17:00:18

Kenneth More in The Greengage Summer.

Elusivebutterfly Tue 16-Nov-21 16:33:10

I have to agree on Dan Stevens, as well as Rufus Sewell. I would add Aidan Turner.

Now, you know that Greg Davies is mine @FannyCornforth and I will also add to the list Rick Edwards and Joel Dommet - they're all tall, manly and handsome. aren't they?

In his youth, Jeremy Clarkson was quite a dish - and he can hand over £1m to me if he likes.

trisher

Just realised I put Tony not Toby! Does it matter if you can't even get their name right???

Not as long as you promise to respect him in the morning Trisher...?

I’ve also been a lifelong fan of Burt Lancaster. I think he was the most beautiful man on the planet when he was in his prime. The Swimmer is one of my favourite films.

Aldom Tue 16-Nov-21 13:33:23

Fanny the cousin of Pam Ayers lives round the corner from me. Not quite the same, is it? grin

FannyCornforth Tue 16-Nov-21 13:27:44

Aldom my cousin (well, my mom’s cousin actually) is the absolute spitting image of Hugh.
