Jersey trip, some tips please.
How do I bring this issue up with our neighbours?
Good Morning Everyone ,
Its dark but a dry start here in brackley this morning, today will be an interesting day.
I am getting a bus early to Bicester around 9 , as I have a booster jab at chemists which is on the bus route , I am hoping that I can walk in early before time given, and then catch another bus or walk into Bicester to do my usual routine .
Yesterday , I played the new ABBA CD and its a good selection , if Sweden entered them into the Eurovision ,40 years on would be interesting .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from Leicestershire.
Few posts but a lot of news this morning.
Hope you feel better soon Urmstongran. This cold is a stinker.
Sorry to hear your daughter’s news Gingster I hope the next op goes well.
That’s a beautiful bag Mattie your friend is very lucky.
Busy day here dog walking, Tai Chi, hearing test and NWR National quiz this evening. Some members are gathering in my house. It will be nice to be face to face.
Hope GrannySomerset feels better today. Thinking of all those with worries and illnesses.
Good morning all from a grey S Hants. I do that with the autumn leaves too Beechnut!
Gosh, lots going on this morning, I’ll just say that I’m dropping MrJ at Southampton airport later, thank goodness we’re close.
Imogen won an award at school, part of the award was a 3 course dinner at school last night, so the picture is of her, for Cherry especially.
Poorly people get better soon, baubles. ??? for all today.
Good morning everyone from a bright and dry Northampton. A quick tidy up before Sainsburys delivers this morning, then out to ballet after lunch.
Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Chatsworth yesterday. The weather was kind to us and although it was chilly, it luckily stayed dry. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas, certainly worth seeing. Lots of stalls at the Christmas market, where we enjoyed mulled wine on arrival!
A complete coincidence, my brother-in-law was also visiting Chatsworth yesterday! Didn't know until I got on the coach to go home and saw his post on Facebook. Unfortunately we didn't come across each other.
Haven't read any posts yet, so will go back and read all the news now. Hope Thursday is kind to us all.
Good morning from Cheshire.
Exciting news soon Grandmadinosaur. How lovely to have a new grandchild.
Still quite dark here but seems mild.
Will come back to read rest of posts later.
Good morning all from the lady in isolation here on the east coast of Fife where the bin men are on their way and the suns rising way across the Firth of Firth . Too late I’m already awake make as much noise as you can my window is wide open and I’ll be able to hear their choice conversations.
hugs and best wishes to everyone this gorgeous morning
Good morning Mick and all from a warmer Glasgow, its 12°C here.
Another day at home for me, as I have some goodies and also my injections being delivered. The shortage of injections, due to the medication being used successfully for Covid patients in ICU, seems to have eased slightly. Worryingly, they have recently been delivered in dribs and drabs, but I have been given a further delivery date to get me over Christmas, which is a huge relief! It took sixth months to get used to them, so I couldn't face a break in service!
Unexpectedly yesterday, I received an appointment to see the orthopaedic surgeon about my hip and hopefully also my foot problem. Both are impacting on each other and causing a lot of pain.
This was a total surprise, as I received a call in August, advising me there was a very long waiting list. I think my new rheumatologist may have had a hand in this! I like him already!
Today is Dollie's sixth birthday. She has croup, is on steroids and her beloved daddy is in Belfast on business. Not the best of situations for her to be in.
Baubles, I hope you are on the mend and feeling a bit better.
My friend's daughter, whom I taught twice, is seriously ill in hospital with sepsis and had surgery on her liver and gallbladder yesterday, after a bout of gastro enteritis. She has a six month old baby. For those of you who pray, please keep her in your prayers.
However, on a lighter note, MrDIY (under my tutelage), successfully regrouted the bathroom floor. Today the royal we will shampoo the living room carpet. It usually ends in a disaster. ? Another task is search for the Italian meatballs, I intended to freeze yesterday. They have vanished into thin air, I think I am going mad! ?
Wishing you all, the best day you can have and virtual hugs for all who need them.
Good morning from Essex by the sea where the sun is shining ?.
Ironing and admin this morning and probably a visit to the supermarket this afternoon.
My 10 year old granddaughter is having her very long hair cut and donating said hair to make wigs for poorly children. We are all very proud of her.
Gingster I'm sorry to hear about your daughter. My youngest daughter went through this at the beginning of the year. I wish her well.
Enjoy Thursday everyone xx

It looks like it is going to brighten up outside and I am off for a walk and coffee with a friend this morning.
Sewing club this afternoon followed by my booster .
Hope you all find a smile in your day.

Enjoy your Thursday and may you all find some ?.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. The sun is breaking through in South Yorkshire, but it’s chilly. It has taken me an hour to get onto Gransnet this morning. Early attempts wouldn’t open the page! All other sites were fine. Strange. We are having a cooking day today. DH is making his signature bean and bacon soup, and I have promised DGS some “proper” Cornish pasties (a complete faff but he’s worth it). I will also knock up some chicken broth as I feel as if I am coming down with a cold and that is my go to!
Glad you enjoyed Chatsworth, BlueSapphire - it’s our “local” stately home. We used to walk the parkland regularly, and visited the house and gardens in the summer with family who hadn’t been there before.
Have a good day everyone, and stay safe.
Thank you sar and dragonfly and gg for your kindly messages ❤️
Good morning Auntyflo and all x
Good morning from Sefton where it is mild and dry.
We have two acers in the garden, A. griseum currently an intense red in contrast to the hedge behind it. As dusk falls tawny owls populate this area and continue to call throughout the night. Autumn is indeed a truly awesome season.
Thinking of those who are unwell, need solace or, for whatever reason, would benefit from the sight of a passing flamingo. Have the best day everyone.
???
Good morning from a sunny W Kent, busy week so far and a visit to the hairdressers today, taking a picture of what I want done, I know they don't like it but never seem to explain it quite right.
Good wishes to all
Preparing to visit DH this morning and hope he is a bit more with it than yesterday. Lovely start to the day with a delivery of flowers from DGD1, currently earning actual money bar maiding in Soho and generally enjoying life.
DD and SiL arriving this evening for a couple of nights so I am looking forward to being a bit spoiled.
I hope soon to have the capacity to think about someone other than myself!
Good morning from grey Gower, where we've got the typical November gloop.
Had my booster yesterday and am aching all over this morning ?. I might have a duvet day and leave my WP to wait on me ?
Thank you so much for being so kind to post the photo of Imogen Jax, what an attractive young lady she is, obviously a clever and talented one too?. I hope MrJ has a comfortable journey for what is such a difficult trip.
I hope GrannySomerset is more at ease and her DH more settled ?
I am thinking of you all and hoping that each and everyone of you finds a ? or a random flamingo along the way today ❤️
Just dropping in to say thank you for all of your good wishes you are a caring bunch of ladies .Take care everyone .?
Good morning everyone, dry and milder than usual here today.
Thinking of all my friends on my iPad xxx
Good morning Mick, Annie and all, from a beautiful morning here in Berks.
I'm glad that I am not the only one having trouble posting. It was like wading through treacle waiting for a preview to appear. What's been going on?
Cherry, so pleased to see you this morning, hope you are well. Also hoping that GrannySomerset enjoys her visit from family and that her DH has settled a bit since his move.
No news from here as we have been very boring and doing nothing, so it is nice to read of folks "doings".
Sending gentle hugs to all those needing one.
Have a good day one and all.
Thank you Auntieflo, I wish I could say yes I am well but ... well let's just gloss over that. I hope you are faring okay, under your own circumstances ?
Good morning all, it’s grey, windy and raining in Lancashire this morning. I had a really good sleep last night, the new painkillers seem to be working and the rest and elevation has been helping my foot. The swelling has gone down and it’s much less painful. I really hope I’ll be able to get out for a walk soon.
Grandmattie that’s beautiful work, you are so talented. Have a good day all, hope things improve for all with troubles ??
Good morning all from a wet blustery start to the day in Glasgow.
I awoke this morning with a dull headache which usually signals the start of a cold. Tests are negative so at least I know it’s not that! I am very rarely out and about again as covid numbers are on the rise, masks are mandatory and at the risk of sounding paranoid I did wonder, with my former nursing cap on, thé wisdom of so many arriving from around the world for COP26 during a pandemic! Where did I pick up this cold from?……stuck indoors gives me too much time to analyse everything to the nth degree.
The day ahead promises copious amounts of honey and lemon drinks and not much else. Hey ho.
Hopefully a pleasant day for most of us and take care all who are under par.
