Have you seen the reports showing her performing on the street. Sucking a baby’s bottle and talking gibberish. Why would anyone think this was a good idea? It’s absolutely cringe worthy.

Just glad she has left this country.

He's done well for a boy with two A levels hasn't he?

Didn't his Art teacher get one of those for him?

It wouldn’t have been so bad if it was funny ? but it wasn’t ?
They should have called Noel Edmonds, the king of pranks.

"Harry has the money, servants and the time (no job) to be a perfect Father"

Lemon I think you have overlooked the fact that he is a Chief Impact Officer and we all know how hard they all work at chief impacting!

I believe I read he has also joined some corporation or other dedicated to putting the truth out in the public domain so that's good! oh the irony

Then of course there's all the drivel podcasts for Netflix, Spotify etc. etc.

He's done well for a boy with two A levels hasn't he?

^I thought that this was well known^

Why on earth would it be well known? I have no recollection of headlines announcing this slur on Ms Degeneres. Maybe it filled column inches in gossipy magazines. I don’t read them personally.

Well somebody explained it upthread...

We could read threads before we comment on them?

Anniebach Fri 19-Nov-21 09:34:21

Saw a clip of her saying she drove an old car and the drivers door wouldn’t open so she use to clamber to the back of the car
and climb out of the boot, why not use the passenger door

Nice try Algeria but really didn’t work ?

merlotgran Fri 19-Nov-21 09:33:15

I think I'm more outraged that she dressed her baby daughter as a skunk. shock grin

Good therapy fodder for Lili in years to come though.

Because half of her still wants to be a Royal, look how many times her title was referred to in the interview.

She probably thought that it would endear her to ‘the common man’ ....I didn’t see it ( and don’t want to) but I read that once again she was gushing about how Harry was a ‘beautiful Father’.It’s a constant theme and meant to convey to the world that Harry’s Father and her own Father were rubbish parents.
In any case, Harry has the money, the servants and the time (no job) to be a perfect Father.

^So we're calling gay people degenerate now are we?^

What’s her sexuality got to do with it? It’s a play on her name. Interesting that you made the jump to her being gay.

This is probably not a new thing either.

When person 1 draws attention to person 2's bad behaviour, person 3 tries to pretend that its person 2 who is the wrongdoer.

There must be a word for that?

As I said upthread, the name was originally used by homophobes in the US when she ‘came out’ and got married.

Is it that much different to when a few members of the RF appeared on It's A Knockout back in the 70s or 80s? I believe the host of that show was Stuart Hall who, if I remember correctly, wasn't all that he appeared on screen either. So why is this any different?

It's hard to understand why she chose to go on Ellen de Generes after the avalanche of complaints from staff working on her show. Umpteen of those testaments stating that, in spite of her "be kind" mantra she is nothing like her public persona, in fact many saying she is a pretty horrible person. We all know Piers Morgan is prone to run off at the mouth, I think his latest comment pertaining to this appearance was along the line of "maybe they are going to discuss bullying in the workplace" might have struck a note. His former and far more restrained colleague did add recently that it is becoming increasing difficult to defend Meghan. Under the circumstances of the furore that surrounded Meghan's own alleged difficult relations with members of staff, one would imagine she would make the correlation between that and the confirmed reports of the toxic atmosphere on the Ellen show as mouthy Piers pointed out. I believe the programme is coming to a close anyway in the aftermath of how many of her staff disliked being around her.

Given that the royal couple left Britain for a life away from the spotlight, public scrutiny and the royal family, they seem to spend their lives doing the opposite. Once again on this show the collection of words and illustrations that is described as a book was plugged. I can't think of any other children's author who would do that. Julia Donaldson's fantastic books don't have to be plugged she is assured of a captive audience

As Meghan has stated in "her truth" interview how living as a royal brought her to her knees insomuch that she was at times suicidal and finds it hard to disguise her dislike for the institution, it does seem strange there when lobbying senators recently, that she would opt to sign herself off as Meghan Duchess of Sussex, rather than Meghan Markle. I did think that royal titles aren't supposed to be used in such a context. I'm not sure it would carry any weight in America anyway.

Chestnut Fri 19-Nov-21 09:07:33

She's like Fergie part 2 with bells on ???

Grandma70s Fri 19-Nov-21 08:54:10

I saw it on the news, could scarcely believe my eyes and ears. Does anyone find such silliness amusing? Are we supposed to find it endearing? Why does anyone go along with it?

At least Harry was spared making an idiot of himself this time.

Shame there was no juggling.

Honestly? Free, my puppy nearly threw up. The library now has a shining new one though I would rather have given the money to charity.

Oops that was to MissAdventure.
