‘Tis the season to be silly ( or almost time) so once again am inviting one and all to the grand Christmas Ball at Lemongrove Manor
These shindigs need starting early as there is so much to do!
Lord Lemongrove has been busy testing mince pies and pigs in blankets ever since Cook took them out of the oven this morn. What a man!

There will be rooms for those who wish to stay the night, and
Carriages at dawn for those who don’t.

As usual it helps if your offerings are in alphabetical order, but the more sherry we consume....tchblush
Stay and chat awhile if you want to and if pushed for time just state what you will bring ( then I can tick it off my to do lists.)

Here is the address for forgetful heads and newcomers...
Lemongrove Manor
Much Ado Inthemarsh
Nr. Rumpling in Parva
Cotswolds

Yikes!! Y (Why) is it that every time I log onto this thread it's reached the letters X,Y or Z. All I can think of it yogurt, yeast and yahtzee - let's face it, none of them would make a party go with a swing and would be totally infra dig at a grand Christmas Ball.

Tasty tit bits (no not you Lemon) ???

U jester Doodle ........I’m a very tasty tit bit, especially in my crimson ball dress.??
Umbrellas, but don’t let them drip all over the tiled reception hall, old Dudders ( our butler) is likely to slip when carrying a tray of champagne flutes ( which would be a damn waste!)

Voluminous knickers. Helps with expansion after all the party food and drinks
And also a good place to load a few bottles while nobody is looking.

Doodle Thu 09-Dec-21 13:35:46

Well now I know why you walk that way AGA. Knickers full of booze ?

Doodle Thu 09-Dec-21 13:36:54

Wealthy neighbours to contribute to the drinks cabinet.
